Have stayed at this hotel in the past Reasonable rates. Friendly staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again in
the future. Used dining facilities on other stays and very satisfied.

The room was fine and the river view was lovely. However, the young man on the desk when we checked in was most unhelpful and condescending. His poor customer service and rude behavior continued during the several times that we dealt with him after checking in. In contrast, the woman on the desk the next morning was helpful and a pleasure to deal with - perhaps she could train her young colleague in the art of good customer service! In addition, it is extremely misleading for the hotel to advertise the restaurant on their website when it is under renovation and therefore closed!!! Probably would not stay there again.

Stayed one night in August 2023. Hotel is basic, unpretentious, but has all the amenities you need for a stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There is a river right behind the hotel. We got our inflatable kayak, went up and downstream, good views, relaxing experience. Good value for money.

Spa was out of order. The front staff in the evening was apathetic and non-welcoming. When we called down on how to operate the remote on the TV, the same front staff were impatient and huffy. The quality of service has gone down since last year. I'm questioning whether to book ever again. For the money we paid, only one set of toiletries in the 3-person reservation. I had to ask for another set. A nuisance when you are tired from your travels.

This place is a total dump! I feel hungover after spending a weekend with my husband a daughter here because of the mold and dust! I have never stayed in such a dump in my life. We were stuck because we prepaid. Stained carpets, mold in the shower, clogged sink and poop stains in the toilet. I went to Walmart, bought cleaners and did what I could. My mother in law lives in Bracebridge, we used to have a cottage nearby and sold it and we came to see her. I’ll never stay here again. I advise you to run for the hills too. Gross. Disgusting. Awful. Yuck. Barf.

Busted hook on the bathroom door. No jet stream in a hot tub. Steam in the pool area. No plants in the plant area in front of the main entrance. Water view far from the windows. Light bowling. Bus station store.

I stayed here for a work trip. The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. The only problem was the fridge - freezer needed a good dethawing. I didn't eat the restaurant on site. The gym was ok, some of the machines didn't work but that was ok. I was able to do my thing and then went outside and enjoyed a nice walk. On interesting fact is they have a bowling alley in the basement.

Very nice property. Needed an early check it. They made it happen. Front desk girl was very nice and made us feel like no bother.
