Lausanne Hotels with Free Breakfast

Modern hotel. Very friendly reception. The pool/spa is far too small – too many people. Breakfast was good, but better at the Schweizerhof Hotel Bern. Nice park area.

This room is spacious, clean and tidy. It is right by the lake. If the weather is good, the snow-capped mountains and lakes opposite are beautiful. It is very close to the Olympic Committee. The shortcomings are: 1. The bathroom and shower are separated by a bedroom, which makes it awkward to go to the bathroom while taking a shower. 2. The floor is too old and needs to be polished and oiled to be decent. In short, the flaws are not enough to overshadow the advantages. I will choose this hotel again.

The hotel have a really good location and service. The room was nice and clean. But air conditioner worked really bad (it was too noisy so I had to switch it off during the night). Also it would be better if it was a chair in the room, but a stool, so I could sit and relax leaning back.

Great location, very close to the cathedral. There's a large Coop City nearby, but it's closed on Sundays. The hotel reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel facilities are quite new. Please note that twin rooms come with two window types: sealed windows and regular windows. If you have a preference, please contact the front desk. If a room is available, they will allow early check-in. Slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are not provided in the room, so please bring your own.

I had a really lovely stay at Fassbind Hotel Palmier Lausanne. The location is perfect — right next to the train station and just steps from the M2 metro, which makes everything so easy. My room was clean, spacious, and had a very nice, cozy vibe. I immediately felt comfortable. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, it was a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

Nice location, modern room, fair price. Carpet is totally wet at the entrance. Shower is stuck and the bathroom became a swimming pool. Likely happened to guest before me. I mentioned but they didn’t do anything nor suggest to change the room. A pity

The hotel's interior is nicely decorated, and the rooms are very clean. The location isn't far from the train station, but it involves climbing a hill, so be prepared if you're bringing large luggage.

I stayed in a single room with shared shower and toilet facilities. It's quite a distance from Lausanne station, about a 30-minute bus ride. A bath towel is provided, but there's no shampoo or body wash. The breakfast was included and delicious. The shower room felt secure, as no one else entered while I was using it. It's reassuring that there's always someone at the front desk. On my last day, I had to leave before breakfast started, but they kindly gave me juice and an apple to take with me.

This was the perfect hotel for a solo trip to Lausanne. The single room was perfect for just me, the amenities were great, and it was a 7 minute walk from the train station. Super easy to find, in a great location, and perfect when you don't need a big fancy room just for yourself. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast is rich and good quality. Service attitude is excellent. The location is excellent, close to the old city church and other attractions, you can walk there. There is the hotel's own free parking lot.
