Guest UserOur stay was excellent, and we especially want to commend our butler, Xiao Jiang. From pre-arrival communication and meeting us at the scenic area ferry terminal, to planning our itinerary and arranging dining and boat tours during our stay, she was incredibly thorough and thoughtful throughout. She proactively anticipated our needs, even thoughtfully providing mosquito repellent. Her demeanor was warm and professional, and her service was attentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel truly welcomed in this water town. The hotel's architecture uniquely reflects silk culture, and the breakfast was delicious. Coupled with our butler's high-quality service, our trip was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely choose Silk Hotel again on our next visit.

Guest UserThis hotel truly lives up to its reputation as the best in Zhejiang's ancient towns. While the entrance isn't grand, it holds a charming secret within. The hotel boasts an inner courtyard with a covered bridge, and from my window, I could gaze upon a picturesque scene of small bridges, flowing water, and lotus ponds. The intricate eaves, carved windows, stacked tiles, and dark walls perfectly encapsulate the ambiance of a Jiangnan village, especially when strolling through the alleys in a light drizzle. This hotel provided me with the most beautiful ancient town experience.
The room was spacious and well-appointed. The welcome fruit wasn't just a couple of apples and cherry tomatoes; it was a selection of premium fruits. The bedding felt like high-end sateen cotton, though I'm no expert, I could tell it was of excellent quality. There were even multiple pillow options. The room was spotlessly clean, which is a huge plus for me as I'm a bit of a clean freak and have high standards for hygiene – this place passed with flying colors.
Breakfast needed to be reserved a day in advance. While the variety wasn't extensive, every dish was exquisite and catered to both Chinese and Western tastes. The personalized butler service was excellent; Grace was available 24/7, ready to assist with any questions I had, both inside and outside the hotel. The hotel's location is right in the middle of Wuzhen's West Scenic Zone (Xizha). Although it's on a street, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this place.

Service:
The hotel's service is truly five-star. We were greeted by a staff member named Qingguo, who patiently escorted us from the parking lot back to the hotel and then thoroughly explained various touring strategies for Wuzhen.
Environment:
The hotel rooms are very spacious, and the hotel's gardens and pavilions are perfect for photos, so you don't have to go out and deal with crowds.
Dining:
For breakfast, the hotel offers two dining options, and we chose the one at 'Siyi'. The breakfast here is quite exquisite, what we'd call 'pretty food.' The interior environment is also very photogenic, so you can easily snap some pictures after your meal.

Guest UserA Wonderful and Peaceful Stay in the Heart of Wuzhen
The hotel is located inside the Wuzhen resort, right in the middle of the main walking street, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Despite its central location, the hotel is set within a fairly large compound, and our second-floor room was charming, peaceful and very quiet.
Our room was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were assigned a personal assistant, Xiaojing (小静), who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We connected with her through WeChat, so we could contact her anytime with questions about the hotel or arrangements within the resort. She took excellent care of us from the moment we arrived until our departure.
Breakfast was also excellent, with a choice of three different set menus. We especially loved the fish noodles! The luggage porter service was extremely convenient too—we simply left our luggage with the staff, and it was transported through the resort and delivered directly to our room.
Overall, we had a wonderful and highly satisfying stay. We would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wuzhen. A very special thank you to Xiaojing (小静) for looking after us so well from start to finish!

Staying at the Haining Hualuxe Hotel for my trip to Haining was an absolutely fantastic experience, a solid five-star recommendation! The hotel's new Chinese-style lobby is grand and elegant, the location is excellent, and parking is convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the smart facilities are comprehensive. The breakfast offers a rich variety, and the local specialty pastries are absolutely delicious.
What truly stood out during my stay was Andy! His check-in process was efficient and professional, and he was patient and gentle. He proactively explained the hotel's amenities, breakfast times, and local attractions, providing incredibly detailed service.
Communication with him was smooth throughout, and his responses were always prompt and genuine. He genuinely put himself in the guest's shoes to solve problems, and his professionalism and service意识 were truly touching. The thoughtful Chinese hospitality that Hualuxe is known for was perfectly embodied by Andy.
All the staff throughout the hotel were warm and courteous; the concierge actively helped with luggage, the room cleaning was meticulous, and the accompanying pool and tea space offered an excellent experience. Whether for a business trip or a family vacation, Haining Hualuxe is the top choice in Haining. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Haining, and I highly recommend Andy!

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of options. Some of the chefs also spoke English, which was a plus. It would be even better if the menu for dishes and drinks included English translations. The hotel's proximity to the high-speed rail station made getting around incredibly convenient.

The hotel staff, from the entrance to the front desk, restaurant, and guest rooms, provided excellent service. The front desk even offered recommendations for local attractions, which was very helpful for planning our outings.
The rooms and tents were all spotlessly clean, making it a comfortable stay for both the elderly and children.
The large bed was soft and comfortable, the duvet thick and warm, and the toiletries had a smooth texture with a pleasant scent that rinsed off easily.
The complimentary vegetarian set meal was surprisingly delicious. The brown sugar peach gum dessert was generously portioned, with every bite full of peach gum, and just the right sweetness. The burdock hand roll had rich layers and a refreshing taste. The dipping sauce for the pan-fried dumplings was incredibly fragrant, and the red amaranth was tender and perfect with rice. The oranges at the buffet were fresh, sweet, and juicy, and the watermelon juice was very refreshing and great for beating the heat.
The hotel also provided free tickets to the Michelangelo Ice Cream Museum, which was amazing! There must have been hundreds of types and flavors of ice cream, and you could even try DIY ice cream making. It was a fantastic experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to take tour buses, boat trips, and go for dim sum. We had reservations for dim sum, so we didn't eat the hotel breakfast, but we did take a look at it and it seemed very rich and plentiful. If you're staying for multiple nights, I'd recommend trying it out. GRO Xiao Yuan (Yuan) provided exceptional service; she was our point of contact from the moment we entered the scenic area until we left, and she also gave us an introduction to the area. Highly recommend!

Darren1987Overall, my stay was a mixed experience. The day before check-in, I contacted customer service to see if I could switch from a twin room to a king-size bed. After some discussion, a hotel staff member called me back to confirm the change was possible. They also asked for my estimated arrival time and mentioned I could check in early if the room was vacant.
However, upon arrival at the front desk around 11 AM on check-in day, I was told the room wasn't ready and cleaning would take about an hour. We left our luggage and returned an hour later, only to be told again that the king-size room wasn't ready. They then checked other rooms and said another king room would be ready in 15 minutes, but if we couldn't wait, a standard room was available. When I agreed to take the standard room, the front desk suddenly said another king-size room was available but then mentioned it was a different room type or something similar! In the end, we were given a standard room, and I was very unhappy with this process.
Finally, the butler confirmed my breakfast preference, offering a choice between a traditional breakfast or dim sum (morning tea). I chose dim sum, expecting the butler to relay this information to the front desk. However, when I inquired at the front desk that afternoon, they said there was no reservation and that the dim sum was fully booked for the day. Luckily, others in my group had managed to make a reservation, otherwise, we would have missed out on the dim sum experience.
So, while the hotel itself was decent, the service and information synchronization definitely need improvement.
