"⭐My first stay here completely exceeded my expectations—it was comfortable and satisfying from start to finish! The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive when I checked in. I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a deluxe private hot spring suite, which was a truly unexpected surprise!
The suite comes with an extra-large, natural stone private hot spring tub. The stone has a raw, sturdy feel, and the water temperature was perfect for soaking, washing away all the travel fatigue. The terrace offers an incredible view; I could overlook the entire stunning nightscape of Maoxian while soaking, with the scattered lights and beautiful scenery all laid out before me. The ambiance was absolutely perfect.
The room's soft furnishings are exquisitely arranged and well-thought-out, and all the amenities are complete and in perfect working order. The entire room is equipped with a smart voice control system, allowing me to control the lights, curtains, and appliances with just my voice, so I didn't have to keep searching for switches. It made the stay incredibly convenient.
The hotel environment is clean and tidy, with attention to detail everywhere. It's perfectly suited for both leisure vacations and short-term stays. It's already on my list for a second visit, and it will be my top choice for accommodation when I come to Maoxian again. Highly recommended!"

qiaoleonI've stayed here several times; the rooms are nice, and the service is good. The front desk gave me one room key, so I asked the hotel for an extra one. They did give it to me, but emphasized that I had to return it to the front desk the next day and that they wouldn't charge me a deposit for the second key. My question is: I booked a twin room for two people; shouldn't we be provided with two key cards? Does the hotel assume that we will leave and return to the room together? What if we don't move at the same time? How do we get into the room? And they're charging a deposit for the second key!

BerlinAway from the hustle and bustle of the city, very quiet B&B with fresh air. We booked a pastoral room, which is very suitable for a large family outing. The B&B lady was very welcoming and the breakfast was good, especially the handmade steamed dumplings, which were super delicious. The B&B is right next to the ancient Qiang village, and we also watched the opening ceremony of the city and felt the Qiang village culture. The mountain behind is only a few minutes away, the scenery is also good, and travel is also very convenient.

Guest UserMaoxian Qingfeng Xiaolou ticks all the boxes you’d expect from a solid budget hotel — clean rooms, comfortable beds, fair price. But what made this stay genuinely memorable was the owner.
Two moments stood out. On our first evening, my girlfriend realized she had run out of contact lens solution. Without hesitation, the owner offered to drive us to the city center at 9 PM just to help her find some. That kind of hospitality is rare anywhere, let alone at a budget stay.
The second thing impressed me even more. He proactively checked our checkout schedule and noticed we were leaving later than the other guests, who had an early tour bus. So he quietly moved us to a different floor — so we could sleep in without being disturbed by the commotion. We didn’t ask. He just did it.
If you’re routing through Maoxian between Jiuzhaigou and Dagu Glacier, this is exactly the kind of place you want to land at after a long travel day. Highly recommended.

Guest UserHi I'm from sg and I'm writing this because I rely a lot on reviews and idk which is real which is fake. I stumbled upon this hotel and realised it's a chain. Chains are good. It's so clean and china is very well designed especially their rooms and ai controlled things etc. I am sad I only stayed one night but otherwise this is absolutely perfect. Only thing that didn't work so well is probably the room light buttons must press a bit hard cos ppl keep pressing them

We came during the off-season, and the owner specially picked out the rooms with the best views. Thank you very much. Each room has a balcony, and the king-size room was upgraded to a suite. The breakfast was also OK and fresh. I took a photo of the sunrise in Maoxian from the balcony, which was beautiful.

Guest UserLooking for a less crowded place during the May Day holiday, I chose this place. The price was good too. For a place with all the amenities—food and lodging included, plus entertainment facilities—both adults and children were satisfied. I originally planned to go to Jiuding Mountain, but the flowers weren't in bloom and the path was difficult, so I went hiking in Songpinggou instead, haha. Come back soon and the mountains will be full of cherries, and in winter you can even ski. I highly recommend this place if you're ever here!

The perfect blend of location and culture, this experience far exceeded our expectations. Choosing Minyoun Ya She Hotel was absolutely the right call! The hotel is ideally situated right next to Ancient Qiang City, making it incredibly convenient to walk to attractions, explore, dine, and sightsee. The traditional quadrangle courtyard architecture is truly captivating. Every detail, from the door and window carvings to the interior decor, beautifully incorporates Qiang ethnic elements. It felt like a deep dive into Qiang culture, completely unlike the generic feel of a typical hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was wonderfully comfortable, and the bathroom was impeccably fresh. The staff were consistently warm and helpful, readily assisting with luggage and providing excellent recommendations for exploring the area. For those driving, parking was also stress-free. Overall, a flawless experience – I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Maoxian!

Guest UserI chose this hotel because of the good reviews, but my experience after checking in was quite disappointing. The bed was old and low, and the mattress and bed frame were a bit misaligned. The first night, the shower water was a bit cold. The second night, I guess someone complained, and the temperature was adjusted. The hotel's breakfast selection was mediocre. Eating the cold dishes made me feel unwell; after breakfast, we went to the Ancient Qiang Village and ended up looking for restrooms all along the way, rushing to buy medicine. The next morning, I avoided the cold dishes and didn't have any more stomach issues. The hotel service was just so-so. Upon check-in, I noticed the outside environment was terrible, with messy wires and trash outside the window. I asked the front desk if I could switch rooms or upgrade for an extra fee. A female staff member hesitated, seemingly about to agree, but another quickly interrupted her, saying there were no rooms available. The next morning, they asked if we still wanted to switch, but the room number they offered also had a poor environment. Plus, we were checking out the next day, so we didn't bother with the hassle. Overall, I felt this was the worst hotel I've stayed at during this trip.

The experience exceeded expectations! The scenic area's opening ceremony in the morning was magnificent. In the evening, I enjoyed a 50% discount on the ”Dreaming of the Ancient Qiang” performance with my room card. The immersive stage performance transcended boundaries, with Qiang flutes, multi-part folk songs, and light and shadow interweaving, creating a sense of time travel. The hotel is conveniently located right inside the scenic area, with friendly service and excellent value for money. It's a great choice for a deep dive into Qiang culture! Highly recommended for culture enthusiasts and travelers.

YoYo～YOYOThe hotel lobby and rooms are in different places. After check-in, someone took us to the accommodation area, which was a short walk, though only a few minutes, but it was raining. After checking in, we found there was no power. It was freezing cold, and after waiting ages for the engineer to arrive, it turned out the power had tripped. I mean, don't you guys check things beforehand? My child had already finished using the toilet, and when I went in, I found a cigarette butt in the trash can and ashes in the sink. (My child is only a few years old and doesn't smoke.) It was supposed to be a starry sky room, but with the rain, there were obviously no stars, but I still wanted to see them, but the glass was so dirty I couldn't see anything… To be fair, the breakfast was okay.
