"Before checking in, I was particularly worried about formaldehyde odor in the newly renovated room, but it turned out to be completely unnecessary! The air in the room was fresh and clear, with no pungent smell. The hotel had undergone professional formaldehyde removal treatment, so I felt safe and at ease staying there. It was especially reassuring to bring elderly people and children. The hotel paid attention to details, and I was very satisfied with this hotel during my trip. They even provided complimentary fruit, which was super fresh. This hotel is highly recommended for its value.
The receptionist was also very helpful."
"The first time it came when the flowers were blooming, it was still a bit cool at that time. The holy snow-capped mountains and the white pear flowers are reflected; the branches that have just been awakened and the mysterious ancient city do not disturb and snuggle with each other. The small courtyard is exquisite and neat, one step at a time; the service is thoughtful, the wind and people are sincere; the people are refreshed and happy!
The Youth Day came again by accident. The white clouds were over the nine top mountains, and they were shy and great; the blue sky was surrounded by the hot sun, and the green mountains were particularly powerful. Happy thing: As today's day, their group of young people not only listened carefully to the last suggestion, but also optimized and implemented.
Maybe the next time the fruit fragrance came again, not only by this comfortable courtyard, this group of lovely young people attracted, but also eyes all kinds of attractive melons and fruits."

BBerlinAway from the hustle and bustle of the city, very quiet B&B with fresh air. We booked a pastoral room, which is very suitable for a large family outing. The B&B lady was very welcoming and the breakfast was good, especially the handmade steamed dumplings, which were super delicious. The B&B is right next to the ancient Qiang village, and we also watched the opening ceremony of the city and felt the Qiang village culture. The mountain behind is only a few minutes away, the scenery is also good, and travel is also very convenient.
QqiaoleonI've stayed here several times; the rooms are nice, and the service is good. The front desk gave me one room key, so I asked the hotel for an extra one. They did give it to me, but emphasized that I had to return it to the front desk the next day and that they wouldn't charge me a deposit for the second key. My question is: I booked a twin room for two people; shouldn't we be provided with two key cards? Does the hotel assume that we will leave and return to the room together? What if we don't move at the same time? How do we get into the room? And they're charging a deposit for the second key!
GGuest UserAbsolutely exceeded my expectations. I was initially concerned about the conditions since it's not right in Maoxian county town, but to my pleasant surprise, the courtyard was impeccably clean. EV charging stations are available. The room itself was an even bigger pleasant surprise – we were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite! It was spacious and spotlessly clean. The large rainfall showerhead was an absolute delight, incredibly comfortable. It was even better than many chain hotels I've stayed in. Highly, highly recommend!! Waking up in the morning, all we had to do was open the window to see majestic, mist-shrouded mountains!
LLuboantuqianlong🌟🌟🌟A perfect experience beyond expectations!
Guigu B&B is highly recommended! Located in the quiet valley of Maoxian County, you can see the misty green mountains when you open the window, and the air is so fresh that it seems to wash away the fatigue of the city. Surrounded by greenery and bright stars at night, it fully satisfies all our fantasies of natural vacations on this parent-child trip! Conveniently located to popular attractions (Qiang Ancient Village), the housekeeper will send you to Qiangcheng to watch the opening ceremony in the morning
2 Rooms and Facilities
The upgraded suite has a warm and stylish log style design, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, allowing you to have a good night's sleep! The bathtub faces the mountain view, and it is so healing to enjoy the view while taking a bath~ The room is equipped with smart home, floor heating/air conditioning, and full marks for details. The design of the terrace or courtyard is the finishing touch. Drinking tea and listening to birdsong in the morning creates a full atmosphere!
Service and Experience
The attentive service of the owner of the B&B must be praised! From the patient answers during booking to the welcome and farewell at check-in, you can feel the attentiveness everywhere. Enthusiastic and professional, helping to plan the itinerary, recommending niche hiking routes, and even preparing local breakfasts (such as Qiang steamed buns), which warms the stomach and heart!
I will continue to choose next time❤️
GGuest UserHi I'm from sg and I'm writing this because I rely a lot on reviews and idk which is real which is fake. I stumbled upon this hotel and realised it's a chain. Chains are good. It's so clean and china is very well designed especially their rooms and ai controlled things etc. I am sad I only stayed one night but otherwise this is absolutely perfect. Only thing that didn't work so well is probably the room light buttons must press a bit hard cos ppl keep pressing them
Oh breakfast wide spread was also good just that it's very local and not international buffet like big restaurants la
MM473523****I loved it! The mountain roads were quite scenic, a very unique experience for us who are used to living on flat land. The altitude kept increasing, and watching the puffed snacks expand at the hotel was quite interesting.
Facilities: Excellent. Because it wasn't crowded, we were the only ones who played pool on the basement level. The other hotels we stayed at didn't have all the cues and balls, so we had a lot of fun here. The sanitary napkins were separate for wet and dry use, though a bit small, but for a room on a mountaintop, we were very satisfied.
Cleanliness: Very clean. They even used Vinda paper towels, and the owner provided disposable toilet seat covers, which we used happily.
Environment: I loved it! The swimming pool was closed, but I'd definitely come back next time.
Service: Super heartwarming. Since it was the off-season and there weren't any vegetables, the owner cooked noodles for dinner, which were delicious. Breakfast also exceeded my expectations.
GGuest UserMy grandchildren and I went to Maoxian for a summer retreat. After comparing options online and visiting in person, we selected Minyasu Hotel. We stayed for nearly a month, and I'd like to share our experience.
The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Minjiang River, with a tranquil and pleasant garden-like setting. Both the overall cleanliness and service were outstanding, and the staff, including the management, were exceptionally friendly. We stayed in a room with a garden view, which my family and friends absolutely adored.
The hotel's facilities are also very comprehensive, boasting latex mattresses, smart toilets, and a public laundry room. On the third floor, there's a tea house and an open-air garden, perfect for relaxing in the evenings while enjoying Maoxian's beautiful night views. Breakfast offered an exceptionally generous spread prepared by highly skilled chefs. We often gathered for meals in the restaurant.
In summary, this hotel comes highly recommended. It's truly a hotel we absolutely loved!
GGuest UserI chose this hotel because of the good reviews, but my experience after checking in was quite disappointing. The bed was old and low, and the mattress and bed frame were a bit misaligned. The first night, the shower water was a bit cold. The second night, I guess someone complained, and the temperature was adjusted. The hotel's breakfast selection was mediocre. Eating the cold dishes made me feel unwell; after breakfast, we went to the Ancient Qiang Village and ended up looking for restrooms all along the way, rushing to buy medicine. The next morning, I avoided the cold dishes and didn't have any more stomach issues. The hotel service was just so-so. Upon check-in, I noticed the outside environment was terrible, with messy wires and trash outside the window. I asked the front desk if I could switch rooms or upgrade for an extra fee. A female staff member hesitated, seemingly about to agree, but another quickly interrupted her, saying there were no rooms available. The next morning, they asked if we still wanted to switch, but the room number they offered also had a poor environment. Plus, we were checking out the next day, so we didn't bother with the hassle. Overall, I felt this was the worst hotel I've stayed at during this trip.
BBenwawa. The experience exceeded expectations! The scenic area's opening ceremony in the morning was magnificent. In the evening, I enjoyed a 50% discount on the ”Dreaming of the Ancient Qiang” performance with my room card. The immersive stage performance transcended boundaries, with Qiang flutes, multi-part folk songs, and light and shadow interweaving, creating a sense of time travel. The hotel is conveniently located right inside the scenic area, with friendly service and excellent value for money. It's a great choice for a deep dive into Qiang culture! Highly recommended for culture enthusiasts and travelers.
GGuest UserClean and tidy, comfortable and quiet, with beautiful scenery, the driver and front desk service are very warm, and the food in the hotel is excellent. The steamed buns and Hanamaki steamed buns in the breakfast are particularly delicious. They are all freshly made in the morning. The ingredients are fresh and the chef cooks them. The art is real, with Sichuan flavor and home flavor. Thank you for your warm service. I will stay here again next time I have the opportunity.
