Extremely satisfied! The front desk service was excellent, and they even offered snacks and drinks while we waited. The hotel also provided slippers, and all the snacks and drinks in the minibar were complimentary, plus we got a voucher for a free drink! The breakfast spread was fantastic! Truly memorable and overflowing with delights!

From arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The staff and crew displayed warm hospitality and were attentive to guests' needs. Like many hotels in Taiwan, in-room utilities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own. Sunshine Liv partners with a scooter rental shop that delivers and collects the scooter directly at the homestay. The rental price is reasonable at TWD 400 for 24 hours, and there’s no requirement to return the scooter with a full tank. The homestay is also conveniently located, with the nearest night market just a 10-minute scooter ride away. We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with stunning ocean views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The TV offers a wide selection of channels across various genres, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the homestay serves a delightful home-cooked style breakfast. Overall, we highly recommend visiting Kenting, and Sunshine Liv is an excellent choice for accommodation! P.S. Complimentary parking is available for in-house guests, but the parking space is quite narrow, so drivers should proceed with caution.

We stayed at the 海景三合院特色民宿 Seashoy BnB during the Qingming Festival holiday weekend. The architecture is stunning. The owners contacted me before we traveled to the island, asking if we wanted help booking the ferry and a scooter. They're very helpful people! Once we arrived, they gave us maps showing tourist places of interest, and which beaches are safe for swimming. They can also give advice about restaurants. The location is great, there's a beach within walking distance and a few restaurants and bars. But if you have a scooter/motorbike then it's easy to get around the island from anywhere. I really liked that there is a building with extra showers, sinks and mirrors- and you can wash your swimsuits and towels without having to trek messy sand into your room after a day at the beach. Even though the room was a little small, it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was OK, you should collect it from the reception early or it'll get cold. When we checked out, we were kindly given traditional Liuqiu cookies and cards with artwork. I know that the price was a bit high because of the holiday weekend demand, but it was definitely worth it for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Liuqiu Island.

The lady boss was very welcoming and waited for us even though we arrived late. It happened to be a typhoon when we were going there, but we couldn't get a refund on the website, so we had to ask the lady boss, and luckily she was willing to let us change the time. Thank you very much. The location is good. Just walk forward and you will see Nanwan Beach across the street. After getting up early in the morning and having breakfast at the B&B, you can go for a walk on the beach and then go back to the B&B to collect your things and check out. The time is just right~

From the room, it is the blue sea. The whole pressure and fatigue are instantly liberated. My family and I enjoy this vacation. The point is that the price is really great value. The breakfast is simple and mainly Chinese. The fly in the ointment is that the pool facilities are really a bit rudimentary. Open the floor-to-ceiling windows and you can go directly to the beach, and you can even watch the sunset, sunrise, moon, and starry sky. You can spend the whole day at the hotel from 3 pm.

What can you say? It’s the only hotel in Kenting that’s directly on the beach. The facilities are a bit dated, but if you run out of food options at the hotel, there’s always a night market within walking distance.

The breakfast is delicious with a good variety of options, including congee, noodles, and vermicelli. Dinner is a hot pot buffet, offering 5 choices of meat (2 types of beef from Paraguay and the US, 2 types of pork from Taiwan, and 1 type of lamb from New Zealand). The room type I stayed in has a large bathtub and adjustable air conditioning, which is not a central system. Hot water takes a little while to come on. The location is near the outskirts of Hengchun Township. It's about a 16-minute walk from the 9189 Hengchun Transfer Station. Nearby, about a 10-minute walk away, is Kenting Deerland where you can feed sika deer, capybaras, ponies, and meerkats.

The environment is quiet and it is a good place for a holiday. We did not go out to sea this time as the water was low. The B&B is a bit far from the restaurant. When going back at night, there are no street lights along the way, only the stars in the sky for lighting, which is very romantic.

This stay included an upgrade to a Chocolate Room. The front desk and other staff at the resort were generally very friendly and welcoming. I suspect that due to a higher number of guests this time or a lack of staff for a while, breakfast was extended to the second-floor restaurant on Sunday. Guests dining after 8 am had to wait a bit. However, the most concerning experience was my dinner on Saturday evening. I'm unsure if it was due to uneven staff allocation or a lack of support measures, but it seems there were many more guests not on the reservation list. While there wasn't a shortage of front-of-house staff, I don't understand why one person at the counter had to run around so much. Shouldn't there be at least two people on duty at the counter to seat guests? Waiting for a table for dinner took over 15 minutes. Each group of guests just stood at the door waiting, with piles of empty tables. There were no walkie-talkies in the kitchen or back, and the flow of people and guests was chaotic. As for the dinner buffet, I don't think it's worth the resort's price. Think twice before eating at the resort's buffet; the selection wasn't very diverse, and the barbecue wasn't as good as expected. The white shrimp was fresh, though. I hope senior management sees this feedback. The duplex room was incredibly stuffy and had a damp smell when we first checked in. We recommend setting the air conditioner to dehumidify to remove the smell and cool it down faster. The bathroom had plenty of water, but the temperature control was inconsistent depending on the number of guests and the time of day. The elevator was very slow, and the layout of the basement wasn't great. The water facilities were maintained daily, and there were shows to enjoy in the evenings. Overall, it was a pretty good hotel for its age.
