KKinogegeOur trip to Weihai was made even more enjoyable thanks to this hotel's excellent service. Since we were on a road trip, the hotel's proximity to Torch 8th Street was perfect. If you're planning to visit Torch 8th Street, book this place without hesitation – it won't disappoint!
**Cleanliness:** The room was clean and tidy, and all the bedding and amenities were neatly arranged.
**Ambiance:** The hotel's atmosphere was elegant. Even though it's by the road, the soundproofing was excellent.
**Facilities:** They offer free parking, a gym, and a laundry room, all free of charge. It was my first time using a hotel laundry room, and the staff's help was fantastic!
**Service:** A huge thank you to all the front desk staff, restaurant servers, and cleaning ladies! Every single person deserves praise! First and foremost, their 'smile service' – though a short phrase – was consistently delivered. Every staff member greeted us with a warm hello, and even though it sometimes felt a little awkward, it truly made us feel welcome. Any communication with the front desk was met with prompt and effective responses. I've been dealing with gout recently and asked the front desk for ice for my pain – can you believe they gave me a huge bag? I almost felt embarrassed! I stayed for two days, iced for two days, and each time it was a massive bag. While ice packs aren't expensive, their service truly makes a great impression! Oh, and upon check-in, they gave our child a sand-digging set and a shell bracelet, which our kid absolutely loved! The toiletries they provide also smell wonderful – truly commendable!
Of course, everyone has their own experience, and I can't dictate others' opinions, but my two-day stay here was truly excellent. Weihai's winds may be strong, but its people are incredibly warm and welcoming. Grateful for the encounter, and I wish the hotel continued success! Keep up the great work! ❤️

GGuest UserTaking advantage of the off-season, I came to Weihai and chose to stay at Chunzhu International Hotel, which is conveniently located near Hanlefang and Huangguan Morning Market. The environment is elegant, clean, and the service is very warm and welcoming. Although there was a slight hiccup during my stay, it was quickly resolved. They even thoughtfully delivered fresh fruit and small snacks every day, and offered a pick-up and drop-off service to/from Weihai Station. Thumbs up! 👍

GGuest UserI didn't book a hotel near the sea during the peak holiday. This hotel is a little far away, across a street, but it's still close to the beach. You can see a little bit of the sea from the upper floors, but it's mainly blocked by high-rise buildings in front. The hotel rooms are large, clean and tidy, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and although the facilities are a little old, it's still good overall, especially the thick door of the room with good sound insulation.

GGuest UserI loved this resort! I highly recommend staying here for an amazing and relaxing time! The hotel is excellent! It was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The front desk even had a fantastic girl that spoke perfect English. I spent most of my time soaking in the numerous hot springs, and there are at least 20 of them. There is also an indoor pool and hot tubs, and the outdoor pool will be open in May. There was this darling worker who kept the tea coming all the time. I'd ask for a lake view the next time so I could sit in the room and enjoy the view. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was also really well stocked. The only thing I would add is yougart. I can overstate what a wonderful experience this weekend was. If you are wanting to go into the city and see the sights, it is a little far, around 75RMB for a DiDi. And the spa, although it was really nice, was on the expensive side. I will be back! 10/10

GGuest UserA once-in-a-lifetime romance, waking up in this room, outside the window is the sleeping 100-year-old Bruvis, if you ask me what the biggest surprise of this trip is, I will not hesitate to say that it is the location of this hotel. Originally, I came for the sea view here, but I didn't expect to move the ”history textbook” directly to my eyes. The moment I opened the curtains in the early morning, I was really shocked to the blue sea, lying quietly on the famous Bruvis shipwreck (MV Rena). This feeling is very wonderful. On one side is the sparkle of sunlight on the sea, and on the other is the wreckage of a rusty giant wheel, as if time and space are interlaced at the moment. It is no longer a word in the news, but the daily scenery outside your window.
This is not only a hotel, but also for this eye, it is worth a special trip. This room is the most memorable footnote on this trip.

GGuest UserThe location was good and there is a little gem of a restaurant just beside it where we got breakfast every day. We did try the hotel restaurant once but they said they didn’t serve food, which seems a bit pointless for a restaurant… the price was also fairly good, and the cleaner was always diligent making sure we had fresh bottles of water each day and clean towels
On the downside, it’s quite dirty. Tiled areas are fine but it seems they don’t have a vacuum. The rooms and hotel in general is a bit smelly. One of the lifts seemed to be constantly broken. There appeared to be only one staff member, the manager, who had a clue what she was doing (we weren’t checked in properly and our room keys kept resetting unless it was done by this one particular manager).
Other than that, it’s ok for the price.

We took the train to Weihai Station at 1:30 pm, and went straight to Liugong Island when we arrived at the station, because the history of the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 must be told to the children. Other attractions are left to chance. The last boat to Liugong Island is at 3 o'clock, and there were not many people queuing for the boat when we went to the island.
Check in first when you get to the island. Liugong Island Hotel is next to the cable car station and Dingyuan Ship. The No. 4 Courtyard we booked is not far away. It is the former site of the Beiyang Navy Hospital. There are two rows of bungalows in the courtyard, and the kang room is very distinctive. Before closing, we visited the Sino-Japanese War Exhibition Hall and Dingyuan Ship. After the last boat leaving the island at 6 pm, there were not many people on the island. We just played at the beach.
In the evening, there is nothing else for children to play except the scenery of the island. To watch the sunset, you have to go to the westernmost part, and to watch the sunrise, you have to go to Donghong Fort. I didn't go with my two children to join in the fun. I thought it was unnecessary to stay overnight, but after taking the Grand Island Tour Bus early the next day, I gradually felt that there were too many people. I basically finished the tour and got off the island around 10 o'clock, and then I realized how wise it was to stay on the island. People waiting to get on the boat took pictures from the pier to the tourist center.
The service staff of Liugong Island Hotel are very enthusiastic, and the dinner in the restaurant is delicious and not expensive. It is very good. It is recommended to move up the breakfast time to 7 o'clock, but the island cruise starts at 7 o'clock. If you eat slowly and catch up with the crowd, you will not have the advantage of staying on the island. 😁

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite remote. We were planning to go to a few less crowded beaches, but since the hotel has its own, we were tired so we didn't go out and just played here. There is an outdoor infinity pool with seawater, which is a bit dirty. Since we came from Xianghai, the beach here is not clean enough, but it is still OK to swim. The facilities in the hotel rooms are relatively old, but the sea view room is in a good location with a small balcony, which is very comfortable. Two tickets for the bathing at Yingzhiyu were given, mainly because the children wanted to go to the swimming pool, and the children had to pay extra, half-price tickets. The breakfast was very simple, with few varieties and average taste. We rested and played for a night, and the full moon was resurrected, and the children were also very happy. In addition, the service here is also average. The car will help take down the luggage when it arrives, but it is still up to you to do it yourself, including when you leave the hotel. If there is a problem in the middle, you will have to wait a long time before the things are brought over. Maybe there are too many guests and too few service staff, not timely enough, and you need to wait. It is not the most satisfactory, but it is much better than the Xianghai Howard Johnson where I stayed the day before. Xianghai Howard Johnson is garbage. This one is really good and can't be better in comparison, and the price is about the same.
