Xingcheng Hotels with Free Breakfast

I visited Xingcheng during the National Day holiday, drawn by the ancient city and the seaside. I checked many hotels on Ctrip but none seemed quite right, so I chose Jinghai Hotel – just because of the ”Jing” in its name. It felt like fate, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, right next to the Haihe Bridge. It's a bit far from the city center, making it quieter, but across the bridge, it's convenient for dining and shopping. I stayed in a river-view room, and the bridge looked beautiful at night. The room was new and elegant, with a touch of modern Chinese minimalism. The cleanliness was excellent, and the bathroom was large and well-equipped. The breakfast was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance. Most importantly, the service was outstanding – incredibly professional, friendly, and enthusiastic. The training was excellent; the front desk staff were all beautiful and gentle, providing attentive and meticulous service. They even gave us small snacks and gifts upon check-in. Even the cleaning lady was very kind and diligent. I highly recommend Jinghai Hotel to anyone visiting Xingcheng; the price is reasonable and it offers excellent value. I'd definitely stay at Jinghai Hotel again next time I'm in Xingcheng!

靠近北部海域的一家民宿。島上的民宿不能像要求酒店那樣，我們住的帶獨立衞浴的海景大床房，設施衞生整體是還算可以的，有吹風機。距離海岸線100-200米左右，房間在二樓，從窗户往遠處可以看到海的。接送服務都有，接送的小老弟服務非常好也很熱情。唯一美中不足的前台的一位姐，性格可能比較急。晚上説我沒給飯錢來房間要（證實是她自己看錯了）、租的電瓶車100元三個小時，一開始也不説從幾點到幾點卡點，早上7點多走廊裏看見提醒了一遍説別人都早走了，不到8點又來房間催要8點20必須騎走，怎麼8點半騎走就不行麼，我們也不是跟團來的，自駕就為個自由時間方便，實際上要耽誤你三趟租車的話請提前説清楚卡點！體驗感很不好。其他都可以，飯菜很好吃也不鹹，我們點的醬燜海雜魚和肉沫茄子。價格中規中矩，島上肯定要略貴些，可以接受的。

Just talked to the boss and the chef, I will definitely come again next time!

The hotel is very new, a smart hotel, and the takeout is also delivered to the room by robots. The twin room for a family of three is quite spacious. Breakfast was mediocre. The location is convenient. There is a fresh food supermarket and restaurant downstairs. You can go downstairs to buy fruits when eating. It is also convenient to take a taxi.

Overall it's very good. Let me talk about the disadvantages first. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is in a place like a fishing village. When you enter, the road is too difficult to walk. It's all dusty dirt roads with many big potholes. I drove a relatively large SUV into this road and it was very cramped. Fortunately, it didn't rain. If it rained, I dare not imagine how difficult it would be to drive. Later, I found another slightly wider road, but the navigation will not guide you to this road. . . . There are many advantages from the moment I entered the door. First, I handed over my ID card to check in. When I returned it to me, the front desk lady put on a cute ID card cover; after adding the housekeeper's WeChat, a lot of information was provided, such as when to go to the sea, where the local market is, the morning market where locals go, etc. The housekeeper will tell you whatever you ask; the seafood you buy can be steamed and processed for free; the front desk can provide free sea-hunting tools when you go to the sea; those with children can also set off fireworks in the store; when I left, I found that there was a small playground for children to play with sand and swings on the other side of the hotel. There are charging parking spaces in the yard, and there are sea view balconies and bathtubs in the rooms. It is said that you can also wash your car for free, but it's a pity that I left in a hurry and didn't experience it. The off-season is very cost-effective. I passed by other B&Bs nearby, but I didn't feel that they were as comprehensive as this one. It would be perfect if the road in could be repaired or hardened. 🥲

The shower was strong and refreshing, making it a pleasant experience. Environment: Quiet, clean, and tidy. The area within 300 meters is bustling with seafood shops. The beach is not far away, and the Chrysanthemum Girl statue is just over a ten-minute walk away. Food: The hotel faces the bridge, and any seafood barbecue restaurant across the road is excellent. The breakfast is also good. The lobby staff are very helpful and always ready to answer any questions. I'll definitely stay at this Hanting again when I'm in Xingcheng.

The location of the homestay is very good, the same room type next door is 200 yuan a day. The sea breeze is blowing on the table in front of the room, and it is beautiful to have a drink. There are stone steps down to the seaside plank road. This plank road is the most beautiful in the morning and evening, but unfortunately it broke without walking far. The original ecology of the entire island is generally maintained. Besides the homestay, the female boss is very good and enthusiastic. I rented a battery car around the island for two consecutive days and recommended projects. Some men, I don’t know if it’s the boss, I don’t like to take care of people, I didn’t borrow a swimming lap, the child was seagulled, Mingxuan didn’t, rent a car back, give me a precise score. Our beach shoe cover was cleaned by the aunt and thrown away (in the plastic bag at the door). The female boss said to buy it for me at the time, and the man said that you gave her the money. Prepare to swim in the sea, which treatment is what customers need, at a glance. As a service industry, awareness needs to be strengthened. The meal at the hotel was eaten one morning and one night. It was very general. The soup for dinner seemed to be without salt. No one ate a pot. The boss did not have any summary. There are so many seagulls on the island during this season, and I dare not go to the sea the next day. There is a broadcast speaker reminder in the Nanhai Bathing Beach. There will be no reminders at the homestay. Inland people far from the sea are really afraid. There is a picture of a child being dragged by a bag on his ankles.

We booked 4 rooms in total. Because it was inconvenient for the elderly to go upstairs, the boss carefully arranged the first floor. The environment was clean. I forgot to take pictures of the 3-person room downstairs, but the room was fully equipped! It is recommended that netizens plug in the water heater as soon as they arrive at the store. Each room has air conditioning, so there is no need to worry about the summer heat! The sunrise 🌄 sunset 🌅 here is really recommended to watch. We got up at 5 o'clock in the morning for sunrise and arrived at the beach at 5:05, waiting for the sunrise at 5.40. It was really romantic!

The staff were warm and attentive, providing excellent service from the front desk to room service. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and offered a wide variety of dishes, including seafood, Chinese cuisine, and barbecue!
