The guesthouse faces the Wujiang River directly, offering absolutely stunning views – it's like a landscape painting right outside your window. The overall decor is rustic and elegant, perfectly capturing the ancient town's atmosphere. The room was clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated. The owner and staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and provided excellent service. The breakfast was light and delicious. Sitting in the courtyard, enjoying the river breeze and the scenery, was incredibly therapeutic. Its location within the ancient town is super convenient for exploring and dining. It's truly a top choice for a relaxing getaway. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Gongtan!

We had a wonderful stay at Ancient Town Manshi.Xiaoqi B&B. Perfect location!! The highlight of our experience was definitely the warm hospitality from the lovely young couple who run the place—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We booked both the family room and the 3-bedroom suite, and were very pleased with the comfort and space. The balconies offered absolutely stunning views, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The shower facilities were also excellent—modern, clean, and very enjoyable hot shower after a day out. One thoughtful touch that really stood out was the host personally picking us up from the carpark and guiding us to the accommodation, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. They also kindly provided breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. And of course, the adorable cats around the property added an extra charm to the stay! Overall, we highly recommend this B&B for its beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and exceptional hospitality. We would gladly return again.

I made a special trip back to my hometown, Youyang, to experience the Peach Blossom Spring Forest Hotel. Even though I'm a local and own a place there, I was still willing to spend the money to experience it. The tree-hole room I booked was a fantastic experience; it even had a mahjong machine. It was incredibly photogenic, and the surrounding area was beautiful for taking pictures. The only thing I found a little uncomfortable was the infinity pool, which wasn't as impressive as I'd imagined. Before arriving, I thought it would be a private hotel pool, but when I got there, I found many people who weren't even staying at the hotel using swimming tickets to swim in it. This made me a little uncomfortable. Overall, though, it was great, and the service was excellent; they could easily call a car to pick you up whenever you wanted.

The ancient city in the off-season is a bit deserted, and the inn has no guests. After arriving at night, there are not many options for dining. I went to eat the fish recommended by the inn, not to step on thunder. The inn is next to the north gate of the ancient city. You can drive along the street outside the ancient city and walk up the steps. Parking should be possible outside the north gate. It is very convenient to get to the inn, but when we went, the north gate was repaired and it seemed that we could not park. The room facilities are OK, in line with the location of the inn, clean and hygienic. Breakfast is the noodles cooked by the proprietress, okay.
