Monchengladbach Hotels with Free Breakfast

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's right near the stadium entrance, in a spacious and quiet area. The hotel facilities are good, and the cleanliness is acceptable. However, the soundproofing in the rooms is poor; one wall is made of transparent glass, making it very bright. On the second night, around 1:56 AM, the entire wall of electric roller blinds opened by themselves, letting in light from the opposite side of the room. The loud noise of the blinds woke me up; I thought someone had entered the room. When I booked, I saw that room cleaning wasn't included, but what bothered me was that not only was the room not cleaned, but even the provided supplies like water, toilet paper, and coffee weren't replenished. Breakfast was also very basic. The sauna was a plus; there were two rooms, one high-temperature and one even higher. It was spacious and bright, which I liked. However, in the higher-temperature sauna, there was a large, unwashed stain on the wooden wall, which I could see in the photos (it looked like someone had diarrhea; the technique was very advanced to make it so high). There was also something similar on the opposite wall, along with a large handprint.

Great hotel. Rooms are quite new and the attention to small details are good. The room is clean. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're passing by Mönchengladbach.

We stayed in room 232. It was a triple room. It was a bit old. There were dirty diapers in the trash can, and other trash as well. The bed, sheets, and towels were clean. Apart from that, the floors and other areas were very dirty. The door wasn't locked. It wasn't clear who had come and gone before us. Since we checked in late at night, we wanted to go to sleep immediately and didn't request a room change. The breakfast was very good, so we didn't complain to the hotel about that either.
