"The location is convenient, and if you're driving, you can park downstairs or in the free public parking lot next door. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator, but it had a private toilet and complimentary instant noodles. You have to make your own bed, and the mattress and pillows were a bit yellowed. Showering requires using the public bathhouse, which is not very large. Right outside the hotel, there's a free foot bath, and for a proper hot spring experience, you can use the main building's facilities, a 3-minute walk away, for free. The hotel staff seemed a bit cold. My family wasn't feeling well and wanted to check in early to rest, but they refused. We also couldn't get extra bottles of water and had to fill our own thermos at the lobby water dispenser. After 8 PM, the staff go off duty, and if the water dispenser runs out, no one refills it. Overall, the value for money is decent."

Fantastic atmosphere! The hotel is very close to the main attractions in Kurokawa Onsen. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and come with air conditioning (heater). When we realized we didn't have a 100V adapter, the staff quickly found us a charging station with USB output. The hotel has 6 private onsen rooms available on a first-come, first-served basis. There's a separate app on the TV to track their availability. In mid-March, there was enough availability for everyone. But if you don't want to wait, you can always go to the shared men's/women's onsen. I really liked that you're not allowed to wear shoes inside the ryokan (the residential area); you have to leave them until check-out and receive slippers to wear around the premises. Oh, and I almost forgot – there's a lady at the front desk who speaks excellent English, big thanks to her for explaining the main rules!

The resort location is accessible actually by bus from tateno 立野 station and the last bus is in the evening you may check the timetable online. We did not drive and leaving the accommodation is less convenient because all taxis were booked out but the staff was very friendly as to driving us to the nearby train station to continue our journey to Aso Volcano.
Service was good. The private onzen was amazing and we were able to use it for one hour. The public bath was good too but the amenities they provided inside were not as enough, eg they don't have comb for ladies and make up removing pads. Other than that, cleanliness was amazing and staff were friendly, rooms had amazing Mountain View's.

Really nice place to stay in, exclusive experience, you don’t really need to do any onsen hoping if you stay here, one private onsen booking per day which means 2 booking for one night stay and you have got guest only public onsen which alternate each day.
They were kind enough to accommodate our vegetarian diet even though they weren’t too happy about that because they had to change their whole menu, so I would suggest checking with them before making the booking.
Overall, definitely worth it.

I love the interior of this resort. The staff members are really friendly and helpful. I had little knowledge in selecting local onsen resort, so my initial expectation was not high. Much to my surprise, I love everything this hotel has had. Facility wise everything looks brand new. The room is spacious and comfy. The public bath and indoor onsen are big and clean.
As for the meals, the presentations were good and they were delicious. I have no complaint about it. Keep up with the good work. Look forward to staying there again.

Guest UserIt was the greatest experience I have had in onsen hotel staying. Everything was the greatest with no room to complain. Exceptional service, nice private onsen (reservation required), spacious and clean rooms, free drinks, dinner with wagyu beef, quiet and relaxing environments. I left my jacket in my room, after I left, they even email me to offer options if I want to have the jacket back. They finally arranged to courier the jacket to my hotel I stayed afterwards (courier fee COD). I appreciate this service a lot, they truly want me to have a nice trip with no regrets. I highly recommend this onsen hotel, very valuable for this low price!

From the hotel entrance, the friendly guidance, the room was spacious and clean, the amenities were good, and the bathroom and bathtub were separate, so I was able to sleep without being disturbed, which was great. Also, the hot spring water was really good, and the breakfast was also really good. I think I will visit again next time. 😊

The hotel room has a great view, which makes me feel really relaxed. The hot spring is open until 11:00 p.m., which is perfect for unwinding. The only downside is that there’s no bathroom in the room, so you’ll have to use the public bath. If you can’t make it to the hot spring at night, there won’t be any other place to take a dip, so that’s a bit of a bummer. On the bright side, there’s a golf course right next to the hotel with a beautiful environment. Lots of locals and tourists come to play golf there. The room is also really big and comfortable, so you’ll feel like you’re sleeping in the sky.

I stayed at Yumerindo Hanadomari from the 15th to the 16th, and I had a double room in the annex Hanadomari. After booking, I emailed my questions, and the hotel staff answered each and every one of them with utmost sincerity.
Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly. Everyone at the hotel explained everything in detail and went out of their way to provide convenience for Korean tourists. The food was delicious, and I loved both the private hot spring bath in my Hanadomari room and the open-air hot spring bath.
I would definitely return, and I'd love to visit the Aso region of Japan again, if only to stay at this hotel.

My luggage was too heavy, so I asked the hotel shuttle to take me to the station. The Chinese-speaking woman at the front desk was very unhelpful. She kept saying it was very close and I could walk, and then that there was no driver. She made me wait, only to tell me again that it was too close and they wouldn't take me. Haha, so I was dragging two suitcases out the door myself when a Japanese staff member ran out and said they could take me after all. Really left a bad impression, especially that Chinese-speaking woman at the front desk. Avoid this place.

The main plus this location , if you want to be quiet alone with nature ... Early in the morning even the deer breakfasted opposite our terrace 🦌 The common swimming pools were very much liked , the water was hot as you wanted . The room in Japanese style was taken and it corresponds to the mood , I wanted to enter Japanese culture . The hotel owners helped us in this 🙏 All staff very kind . Food is very delicious , for two nights different menus . Thank you the chef of the chef 🙏 It was my birthday and I spent a great time . The Recan fulfilled our expectations 💫
