The only drawback is:
1. Bathing outside, fortunately it is May, I can't imagine how cold winter will be
Need to add money to eat and eat dinner at the cattle table
Others are very good, with private soup, the scenery is absolutely amazing

PipidetaotaoThis is probably the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed in during my dozen visits to Japan. It includes three breakfasts for two adults and one child. The mixed rice and freshly made Izumo soba noodles are all delicious. Free probiotic drinks are provided in the morning, free cold drinks are provided in the afternoon, free ramen is provided after 9:30 pm, and pear pudding is provided in the room refrigerator. Although the bathroom is not big, it actually has a TV, and two washbasins inside and outside are very convenient. The sound insulation and hygiene are also great. It's not far from the JR station, and it's less than ten minutes' walk to the Acupuncture Lake. It's so nice to take a cup of hotel coffee and sit by the lake after breakfast.

It feels like an old inn has been renewed for private guests. The building may be old, but the interior is beautiful.
The single private room is super small with only a bed. Well, there is no problem with lying down and looking at your phone. It's a private room, but of course, you can hear the snoring in the next room, as well as the sound of opening the bag. It might be better to have an earphone.
However, there is an inner hot water, the location is good, and the price is sufficiently satisfactory.

WanwanshizhimaoThis is considered quite stingy for a budget hotel in Japan. Laundry costs extra, dryer costs extra, and laundry detergent costs 100 yen. They don't provide skincare sets, bottled water, or disposable slippers (I asked the front desk, and they said the hotel doesn't provide them). Even the public bath lacks skincare products, and there were unidentified stains on the curtains.
The facilities, however, are very new and clean. Except for the curtains and slippers, everything else is very well cleaned. Check-in is self-service; you can complete the process without speaking to the front desk.

Guest UserI was driving myself, so I'm not sure about other public transportation options. The service at check-in was excellent. Being from Hong Kong, I specifically requested a ********* staff member to serve me during meals. They were incredibly attentive, explaining each dish meticulously. On another day at breakfast, this same ********* staff member also arranged for friends and family staying in different rooms to sit together. As for the hot springs, there were different areas and types to choose from. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come again.

It is a 20-minute walk from Matsue Station, so it is difficult to drag a suitcase there.
It is nice that there is a large public bath.
The breakfast is delicious and offers great value for money.
Highly recommended.

The building is old, but it looks like it has been renewed.
Some rooms may not have a good view on the window side.
I feel hospitality with origami.
As for the meal, the quantity and quality are satisfactory.
There is no particular problem with customer service.

看山看水看雲A hotel that is convenient. There is an articial spring in the basement that closes at 1am. Good for people who have got a long day out. The bedding is clean but a bit yellowish.
Very polite and good hotel staff. They let us store the luggage for two nights while we r away and will come back to stay on the 3rd night.

This Showa-era business hotel is right outside Matsue Station's South Exit. The lobby is sunken, which might be a bit inconvenient for those with heavy luggage. The room facilities are quite old, there's no outlet by the bed, and power is activated by an old-fashioned key card system (or rather, a key). The large public bath on the top floor wasn't open, and the elevator is also very small. When you go out, you need to hand your key to the front desk, and when you return, you show a card with your room number to retrieve your key and meal voucher. They offer free breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet with limited options, and for dinner, you can choose between a curry set meal or a daily Japanese-style set. All in all, for just over 200 a night, including breakfast and dinner, what more could you ask for? If it doesn't mind my budget, I won't mind its age.
