Rotterdam Hotels with Free Breakfast

The hotel's location is excellent, right outside the metro station, and close to both the water bus stop and the bridge. The room was spacious enough, but the shower design was a bit odd; the half-glass partition completely failed to prevent water from splashing out. Because the room faced the main road, it couldn't entirely block out the noise from the tram. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of options. Housekeeping wasn't thorough enough, as the hair in the sink wasn't cleaned for several consecutive days of my stay.

I loved everything this hotel is trying to do which is why I booked it - and I wasn’t disappointed! The hotel is comfy, well appointed and the level of thought in the sustainable construction and running of the hotel is next level. The room was well designed and laid out particularly the gold back bathroom door. For breakfast there is the extensive menu which at €18 is not cheap (and in my mind should include a barista coffee), or the more price conscious barista coffee and a pastry for €5.50. My only disappointment was that some of the staff were quite offhand, scowling and sighing if you asked a question, and talking negatively about other guests in front of me (a guest). We really liked the hotel and our room. The air conditioning worked very well, the room had a lovely view, and the lobby offered several comfortable areas for working. We also appreciated the self-service Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby. There are only a few areas that could be improved. The mattress and bedding felt quite old and overly soft, so the bed did not provide the comfort we would expect from a hotel of this standard. The bathroom door did not close properly and had a large cut-out, which offered very little privacy and did not feel appropriate. Housekeeping also arrived quite late, usually at around 3:00 p.m., and some of the rubbish bins were not emptied. Overall, we had a good stay and would rate the hotel four stars, but improving the beds, bathroom privacy, and housekeeping consistency would make the experience even better.

Impeccably clean and spacious room with full kitchen and a comfy bed. Extremely convenient location adjacent to metro station and in the centre. I liked the working space as well and made use of luggage storage without no issues. Frequent fire alarms was the only issue that I would complain of(had 2 in 4 days). Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would stay here if I were to visit Rotterdam again

The building seemed old, but it was beautifully renovated and very comfortable. The room itself was stylish too. However, it was a bit small, there was no changing area for the shower, and the sink was tiny and inconvenient to use. There was no ramp at the entrance, so carrying luggage up the stairs was a bit difficult. Markthal, a famous tourist spot, was right nearby. We enjoyed it, but there was nothing we could buy there at tourist-friendly prices! We only shopped at the supermarket downstairs. The Saturday market in the square behind the hotel was interesting. They sold a variety of things cheaply, like seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh fish, clothing, and杂货, and many locals were also shopping there.

Great location in the city center, very close to the train station. There's a subway station right outside, making it super convenient for getting around. Plus, there are lots of Chinese restaurants nearby. The service was excellent – very friendly and polite. While it was called an 'executive room,' it was essentially a standard king room, but perfectly adequate and clean.

The price is incredibly competitive, the rooms are well-equipped, and the views are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was generous, and dinner was delicious. Most of the staff I encountered were incredibly warm and friendly.

This hotel is a great choice for business trips to Rotterdam. It's centrally located with lots of shops nearby. Both the bathroom and the room itself were quite comfortable. Being so close to the train station means you won't be rushing to catch a train to Amsterdam for your flight!

Stayed in private room rather than the dorms. Found room to be clean and staff were very friendly. Walkable to central station (~10 mins). Just noting that there is no AC so it did get very warm for hot summer days (29°C in the room). Not knocking points for AC since they didn’t advertise to have it.

However, some guests have noted that rooms can feel smaller than expected, and the dark interior may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city. Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.
