Great
CChris McGregorI have stayed in this hotel a few times over the years. This time I came with a car. Parking is available. Check in was easy very straight forward. The room was clean no balcony. The bathroom was nice and the shower was good. The breakfast buffet, in my opinion, didn’t have much western food options and wasn’t as good as I remembered it being from the last time I stayed which to be fair was a number of years ago. My wife enjoyed it though which was the most important thing. Check out was pretty straightforward. Overall a little over priced considering the other options in the area.
GGuest UserOur favorite place to stay whenever we are in Udon. Free breakfast (menu changes daily), rooms are spacious and clean, quiet and plenty of parking. Convenient off the city ring road, with 7-11, coin laundry within less than 3mins driving distance.
蘇蘇祺惠This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Head right out the main entrance and in just 10 seconds, you're in a shopping mall – super convenient! (There's even a massage place in the basement for $360/hour). The room is very modern, with charging ports right by the bed. The hot water in the bathroom comes on incredibly fast (that really surprised me!). They provide shampoo and shower gel, but the only downside is no toothbrushes. The location is truly amazing 🌟🌟🌟. Right next to the main entrance are McDonald's and KFC. 7-Eleven is a bit further, about a 10-minute walk. Inside the mall, there's an entire floor dedicated to cosmetic clinics (very affordable!). Across from the mall's main entrance, there's another small commercial area, and across from that, plenty of massage parlors – I even saw one for $200/hour! All in all, I'll definitely be back!
락락쿤It's a bit far from the city center, making it difficult to get around without transportation. Other than that, it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was particularly good, but since there aren't many places to eat around the hotel, it's best to eat at the hotel even late at night. The fried rice was excellent. The only downside is that the bathroom and shower are very small.
AasuthVery good location!
Less than 10mins walk to the shopping centre (Central Udon), also less than 15mins walk to UD TOWN.
There's a laundry service (opens 24hr) available in less than 5mins walk from the hotel.
Requirement of 200THB cash for deposit, when checking in.
Stayed in a double bedroom - seemed a little old, but well maintained, cleaned, and most amenities are available in the room.
Swimming pool, small gym and a bar are located on rooftop floor (you'll get welcome drink voucher & breakfast vouchers when you first check in).
Basic breakfast : bread, butter, jam, rice, fried egg, omelette, salad, watermelon, pineapple, water and orange juice.
AAngkhampmsB2 is my absolute favorite! I always choose B2 whenever I travel. It offers great value for money, comfortable accommodations, and overall convenience. This was my first stay at this particular branch, and it was fantastic – it's newly opened, and I had such a good night's sleep. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service, which I really appreciate. Plus, this branch is beautifully designed, and the rooms are exceptionally spacious.
GGuest UserThe inn is a little secluded. The bathroom was also very clean. I was glad to have a balcony. The staff played music late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. The toilet wouldn't flush, but the staff fixed it for me.
SSPOONMAN366Not sure what was up with the a/c but I had to phone reception each time I returned to my room to turn it back on
Maybe they save power im not sure
Was kind of annoying
Swimming pool was A POOL not a single banana lounge or staff in sight
cleaners were all over it came sprinting to my room with my laundry when she spotted me 'bless'
Requested a queen bed received two singles pushed together
Language barrier was difficult at front counter they had a good heart they just weren't fluent with any English nor can I speak thai so I guess it works both ways in a foreign country
Bathroom was nice enough drain was semi blocked with was a bit annoying
Would I stay again
-if I really had to i would the price was cheap enough but im sure there are better hotels in the area
TTokelauDreamingGood hotel with a nice pool, which sadly, I didn't get to use.
Nice rooms with good facilities. TV, multi-channel, fridge, desk. Big windows, lots of light with blackout curtains and a good view of the hotel front. Restaurants, street food and convenience stores nearby. Short walk to one of the big malls. Train Station walkable - WITHOUT luggage. Bus station is nearer. There's usually a tuk-tuk or two plying for trade outside the hotel.
Breakfast is OK. Not spectacular, but OK: fruit, toast, salad, eggs, coffee & tea.
All the staff were nice: reception, restaurant and cleaning. No complaints.
DDirk HerrmannStayed many times but now it is slipping in cleaningness and it needs to renew its bedding and towels. Our towels, had on two days (of a 5 day stay) holes in them. The last bedding change also had a bed sheet with holes. Sad to see that things are slipping, because we liked comming to The Thanburi Hotel
