It was incredible. The ambiance was so old timey but not that dingy old timey. Itâs trapped in time and perfect for a Henry Ford experience. They have 4 replica homes to stay in INCLUDING Edgar Allen Poe. The front desk attendant was so nice. She called up to my room to make sure we ordered food from a delivery service in case it was a creeper. Iâve stayed in many hotels in my travels and this was top of the list. If you want a good ole Michigan land mark this is one of the 5 within a mile radius of the hotel. Itâs a hub for fun and at an incredible price. I recommend this over anything in Dearborn/Dearborn Heights area. Iâve lived in Dearborn for 2 decades and I canât believe I went there for the first time. My parents anniversary, for the past 11 years, has been in that exact hotel. I will be returning.
Young women at the desk were great checking in and conversation. One simple fix suggestion for the room. Throughout the night we heard a âknock, knock, knockâ like someone was tapping on a nearby door. When I woke up in the night to use our bathroom I realized what it was. The hair dryer is on a hook on the back of the bathroom door and when i opened it I heard the annoying sound I had been hearing all night. Take that hair dryer off the hook and put it in the closet and your guests will sleep better.
