made a reservation and paid 1/2 in April. In August had to cancel the OCTOBER reservation. Called and talked to the owner and cancelled more than 60 days before the reservation. Never got my 50% deposit back despite numerous unanswered phone calls, and two voice messages. Finally got an answer and the elderly woman was extremely rude and told me to read the cancellation policy on the website. I asked if she would mind letting me now what it was as I was cancelling two months ahead of time. She told me to read the policy on the website and HUNG UP ON ME. My husband was listening as I had her on the speaker and he couldn't believe it. I had to dispute the charge on American Express, which was great. Then the other day I see that The Inn at brevard refunded my deposit, but five minutes later put a charge through unauthorized for the entire amount on my Am Ex card. So, if you go you better make sure you don't have to cancel, or better yet don't go at all.
