Lovely Hotel, definitely stay again but not in the room given to me , I had emailed and called in advance for a lower floor as I have 2 miniature dachshunds, I was very surprised to be at the very top of 6 flights of stairs no lift !

Our 2 night stay was to celebrate my Husbands birthday , on arrival the person on the check in desk wished him a Happy Birthday .In our room was a birthday card and a plate with a chocolate treat with Happy Birthday on it. Fresh Milk was available for tea & coffee and a tray with biscuits was replenished each day. We had a super king bed which had soft cotton sheets and super pillows . We stayed in the main house and it was a beautifully appointed room and very quiet. The restaurant was excellent with lots of choice for breakfast in the mornings. Lots of history surrounding the hotel and their was lots of area's for relaxing , cosy corners and larger areas for parties. We will go back again ,

Myself and 3 friends attended the Lygon for afternoon tea which was really lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive. However a trip to the ladies room burst our bubble of this being a high end hotel. The toilet pan was disgustingly stained and had clearly not seen a brush or cleaning fluid for a very long time. The floor tiles were of the same standard. Not difficult for a manager to check this. For this reason I will not be returning.

This is a beautiful and interesting hotel with lots of history. The rooms are nice and up to date and the staff was attentive and helpful. The town of Broadway was beautiful and a great place to walk around. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent stay and everything super. It was our own mistake I found the towelling robes to small to fit and the slippers - I am not massive but male XXL - I just didn't get around to asking Reception to change my fault - service ; food ; waiters and waitresses great guys and gals - everybody loved our Frenchie Bulldog staff and visitors - havn't visited Broadway for at least 30 years and praise to Lygon and all the local amenities working with the Council to retain strongly his historical chocolate box environment without penalising and punishing tourists and visitors with parking and access hurdles so many places set up discouraging visitors - hidden away carparks from the High Street just make the place busy and lively without having a negative effect. Its like a inland visitors with doggies paradise !! Can't wait to return

When you imagine what a quintessential historic inn in the Cotswolds might be like, look no further! We thought the Lygon Arms was just magical. The main level has areas that date back to the 1300s and is just a rabbit warren of little rooms with lovely seating areas and fireplaces galore. The dining room is especially beautiful and there are also beautiful gardens out back. We loved staying in Broadway and felt that it was centrally located and had a great selection of shopping and places to eat. We stayed in the main building because we wanted a more historic experience, and the room reflected that. If you want something more updated, I might suggest staying in the annex in back, it looked quite lovely.

As we got out of our car we were greeted by Gary who quickly became one of the coolest people we met on our trip! The next day we were lucky enough to have a massage and Amy and Kat really made us feel relaxed and refreshed! We immediately started planning our next stay a lygon. The common areas are clean, beautiful, and have so much history, the food was great and all of the team were fun to talk to and very helpful. The rooms were beautiful and a nice size! Loved the rain shower as well. Highly recommend this place for your next visit!

I would like to say thank you for the warm welcome and the service that everyone provided. We had an excelent experience and our expectations were definitely exceeded. We stayed for a one night in the Hotel and we were super impressed with everyone's professionalism. Everyone made our stay extremely special, starting from the main desk with Paul whom upgraded us into a superior room, Jenny, very professional and very polite, Nina - the manager from the spa with her warm welcome, Khelena who regularly checked on us if we needed extra drinks in the pool area, as well as Adam and Kyle from the bar who were super efficient and very polite. Nothing seemed to be too much. Moreover, the room was very spacious and extremely clean, with really comfortable bed and pillows. We would also like to thank Katalin and Damian who made sure that we will have our packed breakfast in the morning. We would definitely return!
