So, if you have any allergies best avoid this hotel, they have no care for anyone with allergies. I am a celiac, on my first day we got there we were all informed the restaurant was on a small menu due to staff issues, so there was nothing at all for me on this small menu (I have come to expect this) what I didnt expect was to be totally ignored at breakfast. I took a sign that explained my allergies in the local dialect, I took 3 different cards to avoid any issues. I gave the sign to the receptionist who took me to the breakfast buffet and said there was nothing for me. Come the 2nd day, I did the same as the receptionist was different, he took the sign to the chef who informed him there was nothing they could make me. So at €120 a night for bed and breakfast, I couldn't have any breakfast, 3 nights I stayed and I didnt have a single item of food from the hotel. I asked to speak to a manager who obviously ignored me as she didn't want the hassle. When I got home I emailed the company who own ibis (it was a pain to find an email in the first place) they said it wasn't correct and would email the hotel to investigate the issue. After 2 days I get an email back from the manager of the hotel, the email said there was actually something I could eat bar the ham and cheese her receptionist stated. She also explained there was no cross contamination even though I was watching her staff contaminate all the food she claimed I could have. I emailed back and obviously she couldn't be bothered to reply. I tried to email the initial company who now ignored me and refuse to solve this issue. I have never experienced anything like this before, I had nothing to eat for breakfast and as we were on the spa f1 trip when we all got to the track again there was nothing for me so I ended up loosing alot of weight due to this. At €120 a night its ridiculous to think there was no breakfast for me, its even worse to think the hotel refused to dp anything about it. They have a sign above the buffet that had all the allergies on it but clearly this is just a facade as if you ask the staff they have no clue and just stand there going well you can't have any food, it's a shame. Please bare in mine this hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate and there are no other restaurants or takeaways nearby so if you can't eat at the hotel you have to travel to Brussels to get something. So the hotel its self. As stated the staff are all useless and have no care whatsoever The room was small, cold, dirty and unsuitable. There was no safe, the tv didn't work, the window wouldn't close properly, the room was always cold but they provided massive duvets to counter this. One night at 4am there was some kid in the hall having a shouting match with himself, this wouldn't have been the hotel's issue, but I was the first room on the ground floor next to reception, so when this guy was shouting and waking up the whole hotel, he was 5meter away from the receptionist who didn't do any

I stayed here with colleagues 3 times in 8 days. The first visit I was greeted by a most friendly, understanding, humorous and friendly man who could not have made the process any better. The second visit the man hadn't a smile or any warmth in his greeting. The third time possibly due to my colleague and I trying to discuss that we didn't like having to run the gauntlet of smokers outside the only entrance and it being enclosed on 3 sides we were met with distain, sarcasm, sideways looks between colleagues and frank rudeness. There was no attempt to even try to apologise, quiet the opposite in fact being told that ”it's outside so doesn't matter!” Customer service needs attention. Rooms clean, needs comfy, breakfast adequate. Restaurant available in the next door Ibis standard hotel. Staff here very pleasant. Food below average. Position was great for our needs. Plenty of car parking. Pay at reception for parking of you require a receipt otherwise the barrier doesn't give you one and you have to go back to reception to request one to be emailed to you.

In my experience hotels such as the Holiday Inn Airport Brussels are few and far between. They were prompt, efficient, had answers to all our questions, and catered to our whims. The lobby/main floor caters to the comforts of their guests with a lounge area, bar area, restaurant area, and an outdoor area. The breakfast and dinner was superb (I had the salmon for dinner). Perhaps an improvement could be made to the three slight level differences in the room as it would be safer for those who are a bit wobbly on their feet.

The hotel is about 5-6 minutes drive from Brussels Airport. The hotel environment is general, but free parking is available at the door. Next to the hotel is the train track, the noise is relatively loud, and the sound of the plane taking off and landing is relatively loud. The hot water is OK, and the sleep is OK.

We were there during four nights. Cheap prices to be located in the heart of Brussels ( just 5 minutes away from City Center) close to restaurants and train station. Easyly located on Google Maps. Wifi and an other amenities provided. The room was very tidy and clean with a very confortable bed. 0 noisy, and the space it's ok for two people. Staff was so kind and polite, specially the Spanish guy. It's a low cost hotel but feels like 4 star by far. During your stay you have a right to one-room cleaning service, otherwise you have to pay 15 euros so be smart and ask for that service in the middle of your stay. 2 hour hair-dryer free service and vending machine at main floor. I would highly recommend this hotel so far. Our next trip around Europe will be in EasyHotel

Can't fault cleanliness and location but apart from the entrance hall the hotel is tired and needs upgrading. I have been to the hotel many times before and recommended it to friends but this time it was very disappointing and I wont go there again. They seem to have stripped all facilites and service to the minimum and definitely don't seem to care about the customer experience.
On arrival the staff at reception were exceptionally slow and unwelcoming with long queues to check in. The staff were neither helpful nor friendly and at times abrupt and rude. They were uninterested in answering any queries and failed to rectify faults throughout our stay. Having booked 5 rooms there were errors and mistakes with rooms offered against had been booked. I had booked similar rooms at the same time and same rate but the quality and size of the rooms we were given was vastly different. They argued that some of the rooms did not have breakfast included despite having booked for all 5 and had confirmation of booking. They failed to explain we needed tickets for breakfast and failed to give them to us at check in.
The rooms were clean but needed updating and redecorating. There were no mini bars or tea/coffee making facilities in the room - but the cabinets had been left taking up space but empty and empty with out shelves so had not been repurposed , taking up space in very small rooms. I had about 4 inches clearance between this cabinet and the bed, making moving around the room awkward.
The toiletries provided were sub-standard, a small sachet to cover both body and hair wash which was insufficient for either. The towels were ragged at the edges and needed replacing, further evidence that the hotel has cut back on facilites and quality.
Catering was sub standard. There was no way to get a cup of tea or coffee in the morning without going to the breakfast room - you could not get tea or coffee in the room before going down to breakfast - and if you only wanted a cup of tea or coffee in the morning you had to pay £12 for the breakfast to access tea and coffee. There was no drinking water available in the room. The breakfast was poor quality with a limited range and the cooked food was limited and cold.
What a shame that this ideally located hotel has gone downhill - I would not recommend it to anyone until they get their act together and employ customer friendly, helpful and competent reception staff.

GGuest UserBefore booking this hotel currently be advised that the lobby is under complete renovation and there is a temporary registration desk on the ground floor of the hotel. Additionally, they are installing new elevators, however the existing elevators are very old and one of them wouldn’t service the floor I was staying on. The rest of the hotel has been completely upgraded, with very nice rooms. The main issue was that Belgium was under a heat wave while I was visiting with temperatures in the high 80s. My air conditioner was blowing warm air and I asked three different times to have it fixed to no avail. I ended up sleeping in a very hot room with the windows opened and had to listen to very loud crowds which apparently congregate all night on the street below, so know that the “historic views”come at a price with loud noise. I live in Chicago so I am used to noise at night, but constant loud conversation and laughing one level below is very bothersome. The breakfast is being served in the executive lounge, so for Marriott elites just be forewarned that the breakfast is very crowded with all hotel guests being served in the lounge, however the quality of the breakfast was nice with very friendly staff. This hotel will be nice when they finish it — just be forewarned about the street noise and staff who will not fix the air conditioning, creating a very undesirable stay from a Marriott Platinum Elite guest.
GGuest UserLocation is great, in the middle of the city and walking distance to two metro stops, one of them is Sait Catherine. A lot of options to eat and drink around the area. Great location for young people. Hotel is business hotel with minimum facilities. But it is absolutely clean and modern, including very useful USB charger points even right next to the bed on both sides of the the bed. And the room (3rd floor) is quite small. The room I got was facing courtyard so, not much of a view. So, do not expect a great view as the hotel is in the middle of many other buildings. And the air conditioning was working well! When check-in the staff I met, Roberto and Haward, were very friendly, professional and efficient. As I arrived quite early, they did their best to get me a room earlier than usual check-in time. They were courteous and helpful. So, thanks to both of them. On the contrary, other younger staff (looked like interns/new staff, has much to learn from persons like Haward and Roberto. Suggestions: it would have been nice if there were a couple of drinking water bottles, a standard in many such business hotels. Especially, the price of the room was not that cheap, we paid about 180Euro per room per night.
WWarawutThe location is great! Cleanliness still needs to be paid attention to. There were long women's hair in the room! (We are two men with short hair) Coffee capsule was not refilled!
GGuest UserWe arrived on EuroStar in Brussels Midi and did not have a good impression of Brussels at first (note to self, next time take the metro or over ground train (operator IC) to Brussels Central which is literally five minutes walk down the slight hill to the Novotel hotel. We finally found the hotel literally 200 yards from the main square (Grote Markt). What a lovely welcome when we got to reception. The receptionists were just lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Embarrassingly their English was just so good. The restaurant employees were very welcoming too and they paid the appropriate attention when required, they too were great. The breakfast chef also came out periodically and topped food up which was good to see. Housekeeping was great and one morning the room service assistant had actually realised we had gone to breakfast and made our room up while we away at breakfast. Location - this hotel couldn't be better placed. Grand Square literally 200 yards away, Grand Central station five minutes walk (if that) up a slight hill. Summary - I would stay at the Novotel (off Grand Place) on a future visit without hesitation. A really well appointed and well placed hotel with really lovely friendly staff. Coming from the trade we appreciate the total effort the staff put in and thank them very much for making our stay so welcoming.
GGuest UserStayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, only problem was the lifts weren't working the morning I was due to check out anyway, but besides that this hotel is a hidden gem in the city centre in Place des Martyrs. Rogier station is just a few minutes walk through the shopping centre, for airport bus, train and metro connections. I specifically chose Juliana as this hotel has a swimming pool and wellness facilities, with a mini gym and not many hotels in Brussels have pools. The room I requested was a quiet room on high floor away from lifts, room 306. Very comfortable, but be aware that the large top window brings in a lot of light, you need to ask to get it closed away or it will be very light. It's wonderful to provide Milton Brown toiletries and I enjoyed the Nespresso style coffee and teas provided. Housekeeping were helpful, I lost an earring in the bathroom basin and one of the ladies help recover it, so merci to her for her assistance. Pool, sauna and steam room are great, but be aware that there is no changing area, so go directly down to basement ready changed and wear slippers provided in the bathroom drawers. Staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Brussels.
区区1. The location is very good, very close to the Grand Plaza! Within 5 minutes walk from Brussels Central Station, you can see the arched gallery gallery next to the ibis, and the small entrance to the left hand side is the hotel entrance. 2. Although the breakfast is simple but it is good to eat, strictly check in at 15 o'clock, you can store your luggage first. The front desk staff was not very enthusiastic, but the attitude was good. 3. The room is dry and wet. This is very convenient, but it may be that the room is just in the side street (not in the arcade). It feels that the bathroom is as big as the room, and the sense of space is not particularly large. 4. During my stay with my friends, there is no elevator service on the second floor. If the room is arranged on the second floor, I have to take the luggage upstairs from the back stairs of the fire escape. For the guests with big luggage, I feel It's amazing! Of course you can ask the staff for help.
RRaymond ThngLocation and cleanliness of the hotel was good. The phone on the room was not working hotel suggest change room but we declined and give us 4 complimentary drinking water.
GGlobal FEverything from the service, rooms, facility, and food was not 4 star. We are on a Europe trip with our family, and we have been staying in several upscale hotels throughout Belgium, and I can tell you that this has been the worst of them all. The staff was very unhelpful in the lobby, they had no idea about the parking situation outside. I also forgot to mention that there is no parking or valet. There is also no bellhop to help you with your bags into the hotel and up to your room. It is completely self service. For that reason alone, I’m going to have to say that it is not an upscale hotel or four stars. When we got up to our room, it was a little bit smaller than we had hoped, but that can be expected in the city. The hallways are not lit at night, so it’s a little bit confusing trying to find your door and your room number. It was almost pitch black. The room has a very strange configuration with the toilet being in a separate room from the shower and sink. the bathroom with the shower and sink smells like raw sewage, I’m not sure why. I tried using the safe, but it was locked, and I couldn’t get it open. My daughter wanted to use the pool, so we went downstairs because we were excited to use the hot tub that was advertised on the website. When we came downstairs to use the facilities, we realized that there is no hot tub, and the pool is extremely tiny. I would call it a splash pool. In the corner of the pool there is some buttons you can press and some Jets will come on. Mind you, the pool is not hot like a hot tub would be. We asked the hotel where the hot tub is because there was one advertised on the website, and they explained to us that it is in the corner of the pool where the jets are. I feel that that is a bit misleading. All in all, it was a rough experience staying at this hotel, compared to the other upscale hotels we have stayed at across Belgium on this trip.
GGuest UserWould highly recommend this hotel. Stayed 3 nights with breakfast included. Central location , walking distance to Brussels Central, large selection of restaurants & shopping district. Hotel spotless, breakfast very adequate, staff very friendly & welcoming from check in, to dining, to the cleaning staff. Credit to all the staff. If I was to pick a flaw, it would be to upgrade carpets in room, but it's a minor thing to complain about.
GGuest UserI stayed recently with my family and feel the hotel suited our needs. The room was one of the largest ones I have had in a hotel so there was plenty of room for us all. Cleanliness wise it was good. The bathroom seemed a bit old and could probably do with a bit of a refresh but apart from that it was all okay. We had an issue with our window not closing and someone was up within 5 mins to fix it which was great. We also had someone come up on another day to check everything was okay we reported a couple of broken light bulbs which again were changed very quickly. The staff were generally quite friendly apart from the reception staff who didn't really acknowledge you but the rest of them were fine. The breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. The hotel is in a bit of a run down area near the main train station but we never had any issues. I would suggest if you don't feel comfortable staying near a busy train station then you should maybe look elsewhere as the hotel can't be held responsible for the area they are in. Its a 20 min walk to the centre of Brussels so again something to be aware off. If I was returning to Brussels I would probably stay somewhere a bit closer to the centre but we did enjoy our stay here.
