Hotel Barry

Central Brussels
Hotel location is very good, not far from the central square, strolling is coming, we stayed in four beds, just four people, one per person, no extra charge, including the head tax, the first floor restaurant has The hot water bottle can be used to boil water on its own. Although the facilities in the store are simple, it is really a good choice for those who want to sleep outside at night. It is a good choice for a person who is very suitable for travel. Feeling. And it’s check out at 12 o'clock, there is no extra money, the front desk is also very good.
Brxxl 5 City Centre Hostel

We came to Brussels for two nights. We booked a single room, number 503, in the Brxxl5 hotel. From the first night we were literally devoured by bedbugs. In the morning we were even able to “cross paths” with them because they were so huge (see photo). We informed the staff, in particular a certain Ana at reception for whom it was obviously not her problem because I quote ”she does not take care of the cleaning but of the arrival of customers” so the customer service stops there, simply to cash in. After being accused by the latter of having brought in bedbugs, they guaranteed us a full refund. Which obviously wasn't done and now they no longer respond to emails. Apart from that, no hot water, smell of urine in the corridors. In short, we spent our 2 weekend days managing the problem between pharmacy, finding a new hotel, new clothes etc... Run away!!!
Sleep Well Youth Hostel

Really close to the station and I really enjoyed the breakfast. The small room wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t have enjoyed staying in a large room with no privacy but I think that is preference. At night I was in the common area, and bed bugs started crawling out of the cushions. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do about it. I freaked out and told my roommate and we checked our dorm like crazy looking for any signs and we couldn’t find any in our dorm. I hope they fix this issue soon, otherwise Id recommend staying anywhere else.
Hotel le Grand Colombier

We came back to our room around 2 at night and the keycard to our room was suddenly deactivated so we couldn’t get in to our room at all! No staff at the hotel and or any way to get in contact with them as the phone number just went to the reception. No other 24h service or emergency number! We had to stay in the reception the whole all night and without any sleep. When the receptionist finally came at 9 (check out is at 11.30!) he did not tried to find a solution to fix refund or some compensation, not even apologizing once or any humbleness! We had to tell him to call the manager to give us some kind of refund. He just yelled at us and was not service minded at all! Got told to contact *********** for full refund, or they could refund us 20 Euro and to have the room a couple of hours more. But as we already had tickets to an exhibition and train, we had to check out at the regular check out time with only 1 hour of sleep. We had been awake for 28 hours and our day was ruined.. Super bad service and unacceptable! Also a lot of noise from the construction work outside the hotel.

The staffs are friendly for non-native French speakers. There is also clean in-room kitchenware available. However, you’ll need to pull the door heavily to make sure the automatic lock works.
