Pleasant stay. I enjoyed my experience in the hotel, only downside was it being far from the metro and not many activities around the hotel area.

The Hotel all in all was great. The wellness area is the best i have been in so far. The breakfast was very good, there were a lot of meals to chose from. The room was also ok. The only problem was that the parking is not included in the reservation, we had to pay for it. When i reserve a junior suite i think it should contain the parking.

The hotel environment is clean and the service is good. Due to its remote location, the fitness room is small and the breakfast is rich and varied. It is a very comfortable experience. Thumbs up!

A convalescent hotel located in the suburbs. You need to take a taxi to the city center, but the air is very good.

It's okay, but compared with the standard of a 4-star hotel, it needs to be improved. The highlight of the hotel is that you can take a bath in the sauna. I was not feeling well and did not try it. You can try it if you go.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Spa facilities provided a lovely end to our day and booking a massage with Peter was great value at £30 for 55 minutes. A tea/coffee tray in the room would have been appropriate and we found the balcony outside our room could only be accessed by a side door from the room next door so we had other guests sitting outside our room and couldn't open our windows,

Transport infrastructure: Decent. There's are bus stops within 5 mins of the hotel that will grant you swift access to Kelenfold Terminus where you can access pretty much anywhere from. On site parking for multiple vehicles and or coaches.(4/5) Facilities: Good. swimming pool, jacuzzi, bio and Finnis steam rooms. Aromatherapy room, salt cave, hamam style steam room (wasn't working during my visit) infrared sauna. At least 3 squash courts. Weights room with cardio equipment. Lifts. 2 lane bowling alley. A bar (only open from Tuesday to Saturday. Small garden area with a water fountain. Restaurant. (3.5/5) Room: Bad. The bed was comfortable. It was big enough to cope with my size. Room safe and mini bar fridge both present. Very basic toilitress and Rubin branded containers. Shower cubicle. Missing a sealant at the bottom of the glass door. So water floodsthe room everytime you have a shower. Which would then flood into the carpet of the room and leave the place smelling damp. When reported to staff. They offer extra towels and say "these block the leak use them as it's the same in all of the rooms" can I see another room type please. No (1/5) Staff: Very good and very bad. The room was next door to the housekeepers office which means there was constant footfall and buggy outside at all times. The good thing though is if you need an extra towel or set of bathrobes. Instant replacement. Rooms were turned down daily but not vacuumed daily without a request. Any cutlery you brought from outside of the room was left for you to return yourself. Restaurant staff were polight and patient. Bar staff if you get to meet "Pieter" (sorry if that's not how you spell your name buddy) he's a really cool guy and into rugby. His English is really good. He has a great sense of humour a d he works hard to keep the vibes going in a great direction. Reception - Daniel was fantastic. He had great local knowledge and stacks if information regarding sightseeing and tourist stuffs. Restaurant: very good. The cooked food was always prepared very well the grilled chicken was almost perfect the risotto was creamey and paired fantastically with a Hungarian white wine. An omelette in the morning is how I test the kitchens and the delivered everytime (not always with the correct ingredients but . . Language barrier maybe?) Cons: The day I booked directly with the hotel for the best deal. I found x2 other sites with better offers. I emailed and no response was received. I had to call them to chase a response after the transfer had been confirmed and evidenced via my bank at which point they confirmed payment had been received. No response to my room queries or dietary requests until after payment had been confirmed. Upon arrival no discussion price variation just a reminder convo regarding room payment triple checked. The night prior to check out. I asked the receptionist if there were outstanding charges and from nowhere there was an additional 6,000 HUF. When the b

The staff on reception were all lovely and very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is not in the centre but there are buses located opposite the hotel. Rooms were comfortable. The restaurant is a little on the expensive side. The breakfast is ok. I was surprised that they do not do fried eggs as they are a 4 star hotel. The breakfast is buffet style with a reasonable selection.

I stayed at the Rubin Hotel for 10 days at the end of March beginning of April 2023. I’ve stayed before but for a much shorter time. I used the hotel because I’ve been having dental treatment in Budapest and the Dental Surgery is within walking distance. As a vegetarian their menu for lunch and evening meals is very limited, only one vegetarian option and disappointedly the menu doesn’t appear to change? I also think it would be a nice touch to have a kettle along with coffee and tea in the room. This appears to happen in most other hotels I’ve stayed in, especially England, perhaps understandably. The room itself was good and because the Dental Surgery made the booking on my behalf, the price was reasonable. There is a Metro reachable by foot, approx 17mins, which is handy because the hotel is a bit out of the way to central Budapest. There of course buses but I found them a bit more difficult because understandably all destinations were in Hungarian, whether the hotel could provide a useful transport map, would be beneficial.

The hotel is located in buda side, 30/40 minutes from city center by bus. Bus stop is just right in front of the hotel. Very good selection of food for breakfast. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. The shower is amazing. There are a lot of activities available in the hotel such as saunas, pool, hydromassage pool, bowling. I highly recommend it.

We stayed three nights at the hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and updated. It was air-conditioned, which is very nice in Budapest's July heat. Breakfast was very satisfactory. The indoor pool was a welcome treat. There is ample parking in front of the hotel. The proximity to the Dayka Gabor bus stop and the Kelenfold train station is a definite plus.

We stayed at this hotel for a week in May whilst my wife underwent some Dental work. The package contained the hotel and Breakfast for the week. The room was big enough for us with twin beds that we pushed together. A well stocked fridge with beers, spirits, water and soft drinks as well as nuts, chocolate and crisps. A good sized bathroom with over bath shower. Plenty of hot water any time of the day. The room was clean and serviced most days whilst we were at breakfast. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel called “Essence”. This provided good quality lunch and evening meals, although I would say the choice is limited. We found out later that there is also a Grill Bar attached to the hotel where more “local” food is available, and at a cheaper price. All staff spoke English, and we must point out Georgina in reception as being particularly helpful to us. Thank you Georgina xx. For some, the area the hotel is situated will be fine and generally quiet, it being in more of a residential area. But for us it was a little too remote from bars and cafes that we would like. We didn’t try any of the Spa or Wellness services that the Hotel provided, so cannot comment on the part. Would we stay here again? (Possibly) A taxi cost about £8:50 to get to Pest, and the same for the return.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights mid November, running the training seminar. Travelling to Hungary by train, we found its location very convenient, as it is quite easily accessed by foot from Budapest Kelenföld train station. We were very happy with the standard of hotel’s conference facilities and all supporting service related to them. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and lunches/dinners were tasty. I found the staff approachable and helpful; in particular two gentlemen - at the reception and in the restaurant (sorry, I don’t remember their names) - who made our early morning departure really stress-free. Thank you!

Excellent hotel, breakfast included (not even bad) + saunas and swimming pool. We didn't like dinner at the restaurant, but that's the taste and color. The room has a minibar. Clean (though I had to ask for toilet paper twice because they forgot to put it in. The beds are not very comfortable, my back hurt. The location is good. Public transport is available.
