"The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Danube River in Buda. It's very close to major attractions like Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle, all within a 10-15 minute walk. In the evenings, strolling along the Danube is a must, as the scenery on both banks is absolutely beautiful. There's also a bus stop less than a 5-minute walk away, where you can buy single-use or multi-day travel passes, which is incredibly convenient for independent travelers. The rooms, while not spacious, are clean and well-maintained. However, I wouldn't recommend booking a room with a balcony. The balconies are small, very close to neighboring ones, and lack any partitions, meaning zero privacy. Breakfast was decent, and the Greek yogurt was particularly delicious. Plus, on the ground floor, fruit tea and hot water are available all day, which was a very convenient touch."

"We booked this hotel during the Formula 1 weekend and assume we were paying premium prices due to the event. This is a budget hotel. It's fine for resting your head after a long day of sightseeing but it's tired and basic, which is fine if you're paying budget prices. Someone started drilling at 8am on Saturday which was not ideal. Location is very good."

"I had a wonderful experience staying at the Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center. The location was perfect — close to the city center and very convenient for public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again on my next visit to Budapest!"

"A great hotel in a convenient location. The room was quite big and cozy, and quiet. The spa was nice and included different amenities (pool, saunas, steam room). One thing to improve are the slippers provided. Combined with the water on the floor of the spa makes slipping very easy."

"It was in a great location on the Buda side where you over look the river and see the parliament building, there was just a couple of issues, we were located near the breakfast restaurant where they have speakers playing loud music 24hrs which isn'tgreat when you'restill awake at 3am in the morning trying to sleep, I have asked them to turn it off one evening but the next it was left on again the next evening. Room cleaning isn't something they do everyday unless you request, which is fine, but when you do request it on the day at 7am at the front desk before we left, we came back around 4pm with nothing being done and the people at the front desk not knowing it had been requested."

"The guy at the reception was rude when I first came to store my luggage. Never saw him again later, not sure if he is the boss. Anyway he was nice to the other guy came in later, who was obvious local speaker. Also quite noisy at night, other guests came in and out making big noise. Other things were good. Quite nice location. Good to have a kitchen."

"The bathroom was terrible; the toilet and shower flushed terribly. The hairdryer didn't work, and the room was unbearably hot. A very uncomfortable stay."

"Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food. Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing."
