Need to get all amenities from the reception. Breakfast is good, with a view. The location is one of the best in Buda.

We had very good time staying at Novotel Budapest Danube, it is in a great location, the service was very good, the room is very clean, highly recommended.

Good hotel and great location . But the aircon does not work .

Hospitality at this hotel is pretty much non-existent, especially for what I'd expect of a Novotel. It starts with having no doorman. You'll see this a few times in others comments. They give you one water bottle in your room. Don't expect them to replace it throughout your stay though. That'd be a lot to ask. Room service? I'm not sure if they cleaned the rooms during our stay. They did make the beds. That's about all. When I asked where I might find water, I was rudely directed to purchase a bottle from the restaurant. This is unheard of to me. Filtered water should always be freely provided. The breakfast was also quite mediocre. Huge lineup for coffee, no brewed coffee, which would be quicker to serve. Staff not around. For the price, the breakfast is certainly not worth it. Not a great experience. I won't be returning.

Mediocre at best. Some of the staff were impolite and unhelpful. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. Only good thing is the location being on the river front street.

It is a great location, but the room of city view is not so good compared to those with river views.

This hotel is right across the Danube river from the parliament building. It is a beautiful site at night with all the lights. The hotel sits on the street that goes along the river. And the hotel is up-to-date and clean. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful.  There is public transportation that runs in front of the hotel. The metro station is about a five minute walk.

We booked 4 room for 8 people for 2 nights. We chose the executive room with river view overseeing the Orszaghaz. The view is specicular especially in the afternoon. The location is convenient. However there was no aircon in mid Oct and was hot in the afternoon. The aircon in the Gym was also out of order.

It was a pleasant stay in the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Book the room with the Parliament House view. The view is superb. The hotel is quite close to the underground station. Really convenient staying here.

Amenities-wise ... it was fair. Jennifer at the front desk was most helpful in giving suggestions to a first-timer in Budapest. A pleasant stay, generally. One unpleasant experience was my restaurant bill had been double charged...remember to always check your hotel bill and don't settle it blindly..
