The bed was a bit dirty (with some small pieces of bread) and there was a yogurt in the trash bin when I first came. It's near the bus station and u got plenty of bus to take to get to city centre (20min). The shower and toilet are quite clean. Plenty of space to hang your clothes.

Stayed here many times with problems. Slept reasonably well. The pillows are quite bad, though. This time, the room was clean, as was the bathroom. Service was excellent. City Park is a few minutes walk, keleti station 10 minute walk. Bus atop right on the corner. Wifi was unreliable on this occasion. No fan in the room. Small towel provided. Door locks and is secure

Room was simple, but reflects the price and location appropriately. It was suitable enough for us after the day of sightseeing in Budapest. Bathrooms are shared, but they are clean and renovated recently - just like on the photos in the hotel description. It is easy to hear nearly everything through the door, so you will need to be a little lucky not to have a bunch of students as your neighbors if you want to have a good nights sleep. PS: attached photos were taken at the end of our stay.

My single room was very minimalistic and small, 8sq m. It was ok for short stay, because my priority was a small price for the accommodation. The blanket was very very small, like for kids, not for adults. And there was very cold in the room in the night.

It was a clean place and good price for money. The location was an advantage as there was access to public transport.

Overall good for the price, 4 out of 5. However, expect a comfortable hostel, not a hotel. It is relatively clean, big and quiet (recently renovated, so looks better than pictures on website). Also have clean shared toilet and shower (which I never needed to queue). The staff are also always friendly and could speak English, also helped to keep the luggage after check-out. The bed amenities was not very good. Blanket is short and pillows are too thin. Also might be hot during summer despite having fan, but opening window may attract insects inside room. There is no room cleaning or towel change or shampoo or sandals. Location is not the best, but is fine (except a bit scary at night if solo sometimes). 15min walk to Keleti train station which has many things, and 20 min walk to the famous park and heroes square. Also multiple buses are available within 1 min walk. Unfortunately seems this is the Budapest pattern that prices are a bit high for the offer (compared to nearby countries), not their problem. Despite some shortcomings, overall was good stay and affordable. I can see they are renovating/improving, so hope it will be better soon!

A VERY basic room , I’ve never been inside a police cell but it must be on these lines . No tv no kettle just two single beds , a table , chair and wardrobe. On the upside , shared toilet and bathroom are very clean and modern so fair for the money

I had a nice experience at a good price. The only disadvantage is that there is no sound-proofing.

Room fee was quite reasonable. We like their bathrooms and toilets. Very new and clean. Sufficient provision. Recommend the hostel to change wardrobe, carpet and curtain.

It’s a really quiet hotel on a nice street. The rooms are very clean and have a great bathroom. I had one of the best showers I’ve had since I started travelling even at higher rates hotels. It’s about a 15 min walk to heroes square and the train station. Super affordable and surprisingly great for the price. There’s a piano out front so if you can play you’ll enjoy it.

The location wasn’t too bad. Quite shabby, post communist look of the place though - rooms, interior, carpet, curtains, windows, door. On the other hand the bathrooms and toilet were a real surprise - state of the art almost, compared to the corridors and the rest. Quite interesting was the fact that half of the building was a school with shared entry. The plants along the corridors didn’t look very happy, probably needed a bit more attention. We haven’t tried any food, as it had to be prebooked, but it was not clear what was on offer. The receptionist said to speak to the cook, the place didn’t look very inviting, so we didn’t bother. We were planning to experience the cuisine in town anyway. Other than that, it was good and considering the price, my daughter and I were happy to be there.
