After our initial booking of this appartment for 2020, Covid kicked in and also Government and worslwide restrictions, so it was agreed that the booking could be carried over via a voucher system to re-book at a later date; 2021 was another date and another Covid flying restriction, so we re-arranged another studio apartment date for 2022 which was amicably agreed. On trying to check in using the apartments smart check in app', I was geting no reservation found, so I e-mailed twice, rang twice, and still no answer, we were travelling with another couple who had reserved at the same time through the same agreement and had already checked in using the same app', on arrival at the apartment reception....yes you guessed it, our friends had an apartment but there was nothing for us, only an excuse that the company had been taken over and we were not on any system, the only option open to us was to use the bed settee and share studio aprtment with our two very close friends.........out of pocket to the tune of 4 nights and then some, not impressed with communication/updates or reception staff (1 person in a pockey office). We thoroughly enjoyed Budapest and what it had to offer, even the studio appartment stood up to scrutiny, all apart from the towels that were supplied. The location was good enough with plenty of restraunts and drinking establishment around, but due to the circumstances we suffered and being financially out of pocket, I cannot recommend this place to anyone who doesn't loke unpleasant surprises. Budapest and it's people will be re-visited again sometime in the future and can highly recommend the city to anyone.
