The lobby is small but cosy and the staff is helpful. Where the hotel is located, nothing else is there neither sightseeing or food options. The only choice is a 711 style small store next to Petrol station about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is on the Buda side and 5 minutes walk from the hotel is a bus stop that takes you straight to the pest side which has all the restaurants and more fun side. The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. However, be mindful of the not so great 🎭 Aircon with which we had to constantly use a table fan as well and it was not more than 30C outside.

This was booked for a late 21st present for my daughter our flight was late so we never arrived till 1.30am to find our booking agent suppose to have amended our booking from 2 rooms 4 people to 1 room 2 people so no room at the inn (hotel now fully booked) so to speak for 2 of us there was 4 of us booked in the porter on the desk was a little irate after i asked what he was going to do basically he said well there is 2 beds eh no theres no way we can all share two beds so he took up 2 i would say kids beds with wooden slats that my partner broke a few times trying to just even get into it so he ended up with a very thin mattress on the floor at 2.30am.In the morning yes we could have our other room oh great so i told them i wanted confirmation about the amended booking oh they had to talk to the manager who we never saw the 3 days we were there dont get me wrong the receptionists i spoke to were very apologetic and they couldnt have done more for us but wasnt a great start and never got the confirmation from booking agent got 50euros compensation from hotel i payed more than that for 1 room. Rooms were clean breakfast was what we needed to start our day. Dont think we would stay here again after the drama

We had a very pleasant stay and were surprised by some of the reviews. The hotel is situated beside a main road but we found that our room and balcony was soundproofed well, despite facing the road. Sadly I didn’t catch the guys name who works nights, but he was super kind and helpful, as were the rest of the staff. Lovely high pressure shower and comfy beds. We opted in for the buffet breakfast at £10 each and there was plenty to choose from (eggs, sausages, bacon, toast, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, juice). We found this set us up for the day as there aren’t many breakfast places close to the hotel. Takes around 10 minutes in a Bolt (taxi) to get into main Budapest, they take around 3 minutes to arrive to the hotel at most. It was around £5 to get into town. All in all we enjoyed our stay here, great quality for the price and would return again! There are some tweaks and modernisations that need updating in terms of decoration, but hopefully when you’re visiting a city as beautiful as Budapest you can give those things a miss when looking for a cheap stay! :)

Very helpful staff. Clean, functional room. I over all the extra added touches of tissues, a mini bar in a fridge with a very good selection and for the price, a good variety of food at breakfast. Staff very helpful in ordering several taxis for us.

Me and the wife visited in early may. The hotel is in a great location lots of transport links to get around. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when we arrived. The petrol station opposite has a mini spar shop and has what you need in there. Now my only negatives would be the room and breakfast. It was extremely warm the weekend we went but the built in fan in the room was broken. There is a stocked fridge in the room but we realised the items wasn’t free The cleaners did come into the room but took our towels away without replacing them, we would have asked for more but we got back quite late so just used our own. The breakfast there really wasn’t much choice and the restaurant is tiny and on our last day there was more people then tables so we jumped on the tram 1 stop and went to the local McDonald’s instead. But I would stay here again as it’s in a quite location and super easy transport links.

The hotel was clean but I can’t believe that it a 4 star hotel, I think it is a good 2 star. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly . Good location near a bus stop and Mom shopping centre . A restaurant is also few doors away . I requested for a twin room as I was travelling with a friend, we were give a triple room. I also requested a back room so avoid the traffic noice , we got this as well

Very clean and good value. However unless you are happy to use public transport or taxis, you’d be better off staying in Pest rather than Buda as my grown up son and I had 45 min walks to restaurants. Also, try and select a room on with a number 6 or higher (not overlooking the front) which is a bit noisy with main roads and trams. Breakfast was a little mundane but plenty to fill yourself should you wish

A very clean and modern hotel. The breakfast is by buffet help yourself. The fare is varied and plentiful. If you are a light sleeper try and get a room at the back of the hotel as the hotel is situated near a busy four road intersection. It didn't bother us as we used to traffic noise living on a busy road at home. The public transport is excellent and a bus stop into the city will be found about seventy five metres from the hotel. You cannot buy tickets from the driver, across the busy intersection where the return bus stops on it's return from the city is a ticket machine. Purchase a 24, 48, 72 hour or longer bus pass, this will allow you to use all the public transport in Budapest except the Hop on and Hop off buses. This includes the trams and the metro. If you don't want to buy a ticket you can still use the bus without one as the driver will not check. However, occasionally an inspector will be on the bus to check tickets, if you don't have one you will be faced with a large fine. By bus it takes some ten minutes to get to Elizabeth bridge, get off there or the next stop some fifty metres further on. Check your map and look for Vaci Uta, this is a traffic free road with numerous restaurants. We found Cafe Ana to be a good place to eat and drink as it is situated in a pleasant spot and just across the road from the indoor market. Finally, if you do decide to walk to Elizabeth bridge from the hotel be prepared to encounter a lot of traffic en route, it is further than you think and not very enjoyable on a hot day.
Response from Property: Dear Velocettaaylesbury, We are very grateful for the 5-star rating and the detailed description. I am sure it will help travelers and tripadvisor readers when choosing a hotel, hopefully us. :) I am very confident that we will have the opportunity to host you in the near future. We look forward to welcoming you! Best regards from Budapest, Attila Pravicz, General manger

Great place to stay, easy to get to the centre of budapest with transport stops just outside. Good sized rooms which were very clean. The whole hotel was spotless. The breakfast was consistently good and lots of variety to choose from. The only negative is I really wanted to use the spa in the hotel after plenty of walking but the receptionist when asked just said "not available" I enquired when it may be available or could i book a slot and she was reluctant to tell me any information and just shrugged her shoulders!
