Terrace is awesome, staff friendly. Vacak the cat is awesome too. This hostel is a great option to spend some time on the island, had a good night sleep and it was clean. Often though staff can be missing from the reception during the stated reception hours, and nearby is more of a party scene with few quality dining options. The 400ft Costa coffee capsules aren't exactly good either, so there is some space for improvement compared to some of the newer hostels in town.

I was nervous because a customer in the review said there was a booking accident, but it was really good. It was a great view to take a break for a day, all the guests and staff were nice, and the facilities were good value for money. It was especially nice to take a walk in the middle of the park. It was somewhat disappointing that there was no convenience store, but we were able to buy some snacks at the reception. Strongly recommended.

Amazing place and staff but current situation
Hostel was amazing but the fact I had to walk around everytime I left the hostel a hour and a half because the entrance closer to the place was closed by police and they made us walk round really ruined my stay because everytime I had to do this trip it. Took 1 hour 30 mins and imagine I just want to get my jacket and this makes me not want to go back out. I go out and come back 4 times that’s 6 hours traveling just to get in your place of stay

I really liked this place. The lady who runs the accommodation is very nice. The beds are comfortable (except for 1) and the kitchen equipment is excellent for cooking a good meal. I can only say a problem that is either not the accommodation's fault or is highly SUBJECTIVE as to why people come to Margit Island. - LOCATION 🤦This is what I'm saying, if you came to Budapest to work, Margitsziget is a particularly bad choice because you have to walk exactly 1.2km to the bus whether you're going to work or coming from work. (only bus number 26 goes to Margaret Island, which is rare and does not go at night) Unfortunately, Margaret Island is a bad choice for work, but it is one of the best choices for recreation because: 👉Nice place 👉Quiet neighborhood 👉Romantic - CURTAIN 🤦 If someone wants privacy, they cannot have it in the absence of curtains (The accommodation is planning to create such a bedroom, but it is very difficult, because the conversion of the room is not allowed, or it is very expensive, since the design of the building does not give the possibility to if there are curtains, the room should also be aesthetically pleasing, which is very important) When I think about it, there is nothing else I can come up with. I love this place.

When you travel, you definitely feel excited and adventurous about new places that you going to visit, but at the same time you can sometime have an anxiety about leaving your place or country, your loved ones and things that make your home home.. You don't really know how’s the new experience going to be. Right? At least this is how i felt when i left home for good, and arrived to Budapest as a first destination on my journey. What i experienced was warm like home environment with beautifully equip kitchen and common space. Dorms were cozy and full of hand painted Mural paintings that brought you back to your childhood full or love and dreams. But not that childishly… Just nice pleasant experience also with pleasant people. Terrace was beautiful but cold this time of year. Still you can get very nice view on Budapest River and shinning city buildings from the distance. The whole hostel is situated on an Island. Really? Wow. ;D Environment nearby is excellent for walk or run if you tend to do some exercise while traveling. There’s soo much more about this hostel that only you through your feeling and seeing can experience. Ah and staff is very kind and funny. Appreciating every good hearted quest…that’s all for now. Are you waiting for a sequel? Until next time!

Это хостел , я была в хостеле второй раз в жизни , но апартаменты, которые я бронировала сгорели перед моим приездом . администратор - профи , все понятно объяснила ( хотя я и была очень уставшая и плохо себя чувствовала), разрешили оставить вещи до заселения ( и после выселения тоже , хотя мне не пригодилось, но такая возможность была ) ,и она помогла ночью с одеялом , оно сильно пропахло духами и в ящике видимо не проветривалось даже после смены белья , администратор без проблем дала мне новый пододеяльник) В каждой комнате есть свой туалет с душем и раковиной . наша ванная была очень чистая ( полотенце для душа попросите при заселении , многие его не берут- я попросила , и мне дали без проблем) . на кухне есть все необходимое , даже больше ( все для готовки - кастрюли, сковородки , тарелки, стаканы , электро чайник , можно было купить капсульный кофе, а так же масло , сахар , соль, кофе , даже видела какие-то крупы и макароны, моющее средства ) . Есть терасса. В кухне можно поесть с красивым видом на Дунай )) наверное летом там круто ! Вроде даже есть мангал . Я не знаток хостелов , но я бы предложила внести правила - 1. мыть после себя посуду с моющими средствами ( они были в доступе без проблем) 2. Снимать обувь в комнате при входе ( наш пол стал грязным буквально из-за пары гостей ( а там всё-таки уже не лето , да и Маргит - это парк , в общем они нанесли землю и листья прямо в комнату) , остальные , включая меня имели при себе тапочки и пользовались ими ) 3. Не использовать парфюм в комнате , всё-таки на небольшой площади будет находиться много людей , у кого-то как у меня может быть аллергическая реакция. 4. Если человек приходит - уходит в три , четыре, пять часов ночи - не греметь ,не хлопать дверью ( при входе в комнату кстати можно очень не громко закрыть и открыть дверь , так же как и в уборную )не светить фонариком от телефона всем в лицо , а просто включить свой личный свет от кровати . Это никак не говорит о хостеле что-то плохое , так как там есть все условия для комфорта , но это просто некоторые гости не уважают других , либо не понимают, что доставляют дискомфорт другим . Хостел мне очень понравился. Если бы ввести дополнительные правила - это бы очень улучшило пребывание гостей . А еще , там была классная рыжая кошка ))) 🐱
