A great hotel with perfect service and excellent meals, ideally located. It’s a perfect base for exploring the island. I believe it’s an ideal place for a peaceful getaway. The hotel only accommodates adults aged 16 and above. You’ll find two pools here – one outdoor and one indoor – as well as a spa area. The cleanliness is top-notch. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. We were given floor nine directly under the infinity pool, and I think it may have been leaking, as there was severe water damage to the walls and the plaster kept coming off. There was also a need of some tlc on the balcony. Our room was also next to the boiler room, so you had a constant drone from them all night. The bed albiet enormous, was so hard, we both found it difficult to sleep. Other than these slight issues, the hotel was amazing. The location superb and the view stunning. Breakfasts were hot and plentiful. Don't drink in the bar as it is outrageous. £18 euros for a small whisky and we were told that half board evening meals were very standard.

We have just spent a very relaxing two weeks at this hotel. When we arrived there was a leak in the bathroom (which you could argue should have been picked up by housekeeping) but the matter was dealt with very quickly. Without 10 minutes of reporting we were in another room, the Manager came with an apology and escorted us to a new room with someone to take our bags. We had no other problems and never experienced the issue other reviewers have commented on regarding using the "make up room sign". The rooms are large, with a fridge and free use of the safe and a large comfy bed. We had a side seaview room which had the sun all afternoon and we could sit and watch the sunset over the island. The hotel is extremely clean and I witnessed the Manager having sunbeds replaced to allow cleaning of 2 or 3 which had dirty marks. Breakfast had just about everything you could want with eggs cooked to order if you wished. The hotel celebrated its 1 year anniversary whilst we were there with the Management welcoming everyone to breakfast and offering a bite size celebration cake with a glass of something sparkling. We thought this a very nice gesture, although we did hear people complaining it wasn't champagne! We also had a fruit plate delivered to our room on a couple of occasions which was a nice gesture. The rooftop pool is lovely, with fabulous views. Thank you Saraya for looking after us so well. We ate at the rooftop restaurant one evening when there was live music. The act was great and there was a lovely atmosphere . They do this a few times a week My only negative about this is there are too many sunbeds for the area and on occasion it became a little cramped. However, I do understand the hotel are trying to cater for as many guest as possible. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants close by. We would recommend Coasterrs and Francobello. Overall, lovely, quiet hotel with nice bars and restaurants close by. We would happily return here.

My friend and I stayed in the Seaview Hotel for five days in February 2023. We picked this hotel due to them having a partnership with the dive centre next door which we had booked a Scuba Diving course with. This got us a preferential rate, and was incredibly handy for our course as we only had to step out of the door and walk 10 metres to start our courses in the morning! The hotel itself is clean and modern, having been rebuilt only a couple of years ago. The lobby when you walk in is spacious and inviting, and the front of house staff are always present and helpful. We never had to wait to speak to anyone, and our regular requests for lots of tea bags and milk we always dealt with graciously! On arrival, the hotel amenities and times etc were all explained well, and we felt really welcome. The hotel room itself was great, very spacious. I believe we had been given a wheelchair accessible room, despite not needing one - this did mean we had a lot of room (which was great!), but it also meant that the bathroom had modifications which were needlessly annoying for an able-bodied person. Namely, due to the presence of the support to allow a wheelchair user to comfortably move to the toilet, the usual shower screening had been removed. As the bathroom had (an otherwise excellent) rain shower, it meant that water ended up pretty much everywhere regardless of how careful you were. One day we opted not to have the room cleaned as we didn't need anything new, and as a result the bathroom started to smell musty due to the extractor fans not being sufficiently strong enough to dry the room out, even with us mopping most of it up with a towel. Otherwise though it was a brilliant room. Plenty of power sockets, and options of different levels of light accessible from the bed. We had a side sea view, west facing - which meant we had a beautiful view over the bay, and sun for a long period in the afternoon. The terrace was spacious enough to sit out, and also dry our towels and gear from diving. Definitely worth the extra few pounds over the internal facing rooms. Breakfast was really good and well attended to by friendly staff. A great selection of different options was available from a large buffet self-serve area. Hot cooked breakfast items were great, they kept the main options constant (sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, beans) and varied the sides from day to day. Meatballs in tomato was a nice addition actually! On the cold side, there was a good range of breads, preserves and a decent selection of cured meats and cheeses. Cereal was also available, as was (very tasty) yoghurt and fruit salad options. At the back there was a fresh cooked section, which varied by day - usually providing some form of freshly cooked egg option, and a dessert option - I enjoyed the churros on my final day, but I found the pancakes rather too floury and stodgy. Opposite this there was a display of pastries, cakes and biscuits too, which also rotated depending on the day.

Stayed at this hotel for a week on our first visit to Malta. Great location and friendly staff. We had a sea view room which was very spacious, as was the bathroom. My only complaint would be was that there was not a socket near to the mirror to plug in your own hairdryer/straighteners. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom but I like to use my own plus straighteners. There was a great selection at breakfast to choose from and staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel bar had a lovely atmosphere and served some delicious cocktails. We were lucky enough to listen to the singer that was there on the Saturday night. We hired a car for the duration of our stay. The hotel has its own car park underneath so we were able to park it safely and at no extra cost. We didn’t use the indoor or outdoor pools during our stay so can’t comment on these.

My first stay in the Sea View although a visitor of over eighteen years and multiple trips to the lovely island of Malta. I remember the old Sea View hotel which was minor in comparison. This very modern and impressive upgrade though was very enjoyable. I had a fabulous 9th floor sea view room with absolutely superb views. My room was spacious, modern, with all the essential additions, en suite, fridge, large flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, room safe - perfect! The indoor pool was very relaxing to swim in as was the sea directly opposite the hotel. The hotel is ideally situated. Very close to numerous bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The bus terminal is very close as well although some buses do serve the road outside the hotel. The hotel also boast a stunning roof top pool, sauna and gym. On a breakfast basis only, I found the food very nice, a vast choice, including full English and continental among other things. Staff were very attentive and busy, keeping the food replenished and the area clean. Two things did slightly tarnish my stay, although this could easily be rectified with a little staff training. My Maltese work colleague joined me for a drink in the hotel bar one afternoon. Upon him receiving his drink (at the bar) it had become obvious a fly was in the drink. The barmaid used a spoon to remove the fly rather than pour him a new one. We were both rather shocked by this and just sat down as opposed to raising an objection. The second point, a staff (Private) room on the 9th floor saw staff randomly use this room but always slam the door when doing so. I don’t believe it had a soft door closing mechanism on it. The slamming of the door was quite constant at times and very annoying as it was just two doors away from my room. I did raise this with the receptionist, who, to be fair seemed to trivialise my complaint. Needless to say, the slamming continued. All in all, those two points didn’t ruin my stay in this beautiful hotel. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here and do recommend it. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, including the nice bottle of sparkling wine I received as this stay coincided with my birthday.
