This is a small & cosy hotel, lots of nice features. The room was spotless, comfortable bed, with a great shower, plenty of toiletries. Good tea & coffee making facilities, fridge & fresh milk. At one evening & 2 mornings, the food is very good & nothing is too much trouble for the staff, all very friendly & professional.

A super hotel just outside of Bournemouth. It is easy to get to, in a quiet location and with a large car park. The welcome and signing in was good. It is spacious with good lighting. It is all very clean. Our room is large, the bed good and a fantastic shower. Breakfast was very good.

The worst service I have ever had in an over priced restaurant. Extensive expensive menu with plenty of choice but clearly not enough kitchen or waiting staff to provide any service. From the time we sat down I had to go and find one of the two staff working to get any service at all - firstly the menus, then someone to take the order, then to get any drinks, and after nearly twenty five minutes wait I had to find a member of staff to see when our food would ever arrive. When it did eventually arrived all our dishes had clearly been ready for some time and were all tepid. Exactly the same happened with the main course and with the desert - I had to go to find a member of staff every time we needed to order or were waiting for yet more tepid food. When eventually I went to pay the bill, as clearly no one was coming to take payment, the member of staff behind the desk (where he had been doing nothing for some time) got up and walked out of the restaurant as I approached him, and I had to wait for some time at the bar to make the payment. If you have plenty of both money and time and enjoy tepid food & poor service - this is the place to eat.

Well what a find. When you draw up initial reaction is it looks a little tired, however do not be fooled. As soon as you walk in it feels so welcoming, you just wanted to sit and soak up the calmness. Food superb. Our room was so inviting, bed very comfortable and shower/bathroom great. Staff can not do enough for you. A superb experience and will definately return.

Have stayed twice and eaten three times, for business travel. The rooms are clean, with AC, nice ensuites good coffee and chocolates and have lovely, "bear" related themes, like door knobs, towels and coasters. The food is of a very good standard, far better than normal pub fare. Genuinely a cut above being a pub with rooms, will stay again at the next possible opportunity.

We stayed in a comfort room. Great idea to keep some rooms pet free, which ours was.Good range of quality toiletries provided. The curtains were long, thick and lined, so not woken by the early morning light. We live in a village with very little light pollution so bright light in a morning can be a problem. Room has bluetooth speaker so able to play our own music, It also has a coffee maker. Dinner was excellent. Simple food brilliantly executed +served really hot. Breakfast next morning was also wonderful. Plenty of choice + good quality. We stayed mid week, so no issues over noise. The hotel is a wedding venue, so could be an issue at the weekend. Our room overlooked the deck + again may not have been so tranquil in warmer weather if guests were drinking + chatting on the deck until late. All in all would not hesitate to stay there again. One suggestion would be to have a couple of small comfortable chairs in the room. to relax in, as you had to sit on bed. Room had a free standing full length mirror when wardrobe had one too?. Only criticism would be that the tel no on the website gave a message after 6.00 pm saying that the tel is only on 8.00 until 6.00. Transpired the call had gone through to Fullers. Guests should be able to call the hotel direct + talk to reception.
