Cairns is a nice, warm, green city. The location of the hotel is great, close to the restaurants, shops, promenade where you can enjoy walking or running along the sea. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable bed. This room has a view of the mountains and the parking lot.

I stayed here for three nights in November.
I arrived early in the morning and couldn't check in early, but there was a casual lounge for guests on the third floor (actually the second floor), so I was able to rest up and prepare for the day's activities.
As the reviews say, the facility itself is old, but it was clean and easy to access, making it convenient to go anywhere.
In the spacious rooms overlooking the green park and the laid-back cityscape, I woke up early in the morning to the sounds of birds singing and enjoyed the activities, and I was able to get my fill of ripe mangoes at a surprisingly low price at the nearby supermarket.

As a couple this was our first time in Cairns. The hotel is in an excellent location everything is within walking distance. The staff were very helpful including allowing us to store our bags since we had an afternoon flight. Room was spacious and very clean and we liked chilling by the pool. Would definitely stay again.
