Canadas Best Value Inn Calgary Chinook Station has the following amenities inside the single queen bedroom: 1 single key card, best if it was (2) 2 small ref 3 window type aircon 4 hot water for coffee 5 hot water shower 6 hair blower 7 clothes iron & ironing board 8 handwash 9 small shampoo (2) 10 small soap (2) 11 small lotion, just one 12 big towels (2) 13 medium towels (2) 14 small towel (1) this has to be (2) 15 small electric fan  16 hangers (3) 17 NO SMOKING room1 18 wifi is inside the room only 18 wifi is inside the room only In my experience, the card key failed to open the entrance door but it was replaced at the reception office. I felt safe to be in the second floor due to the entrance door that nobody can enter but the guests with the card key. I was looking for bedroom slippers but they had none.

The location is excellent, travel is convenient, the front desk service is fine, the price is cheap, but the hotel is old, as if it were from the last century, it's just a big coach inn, and the guests coming in and out are all... I won't stay at this hotel again next time!

Hello I spend the weekend at your Hotel on McCloud trail and i am not pleased with my stay. First of all when i tried to book through your website it kept taking me to booking .com. This made things difficult. I wanted to book through the hotel directly. After trying a few times i decided to call and make reservations. I did not get any confirmation email. When i arrived I asked to be upgraded to a 2 queen room but was only moved to the lower level, which was fine but i wanted 2 queens. Now, second of all the room was small and terribly arranged .I had to move the wardrobe just so i could see the TV. But it didn’t matter. I couldn’t see the screen from bed because the tv was so small. Now my 3rd complaint is what really got me. The bugs. Flys,Cockroaches and all sorts of critters. I also didn’t get housekeeping .After 2 days of asking for Pillows i finally got 2. But for towels, Toilet paper and soap etc. i had to chase housekeeping down to get it. They only came once and they left a wet and dirty floor. I almost wiped out it was so wet. There were no services. I made my own bed. In the following pictures you will see why i had a problem with this room. Btw privacy would have been nice. Being on the ground floor i would have liked my curtains to fully close. Getting in the room was difficult. Because there are now windows in the outer door and no lights it was hard to see the room door to swipe my card. So, with all that said i would like to politely ask you for a refund. This was not a peaceful or restful stay. Neighbours upstairs were loud . I could go on and on. The ball is in your court now.

Worst hotel and services I saw in my lifetime. Not toilet tissue papers, body lotion in the room, you need to ask, even after asking not received body lotion. Dirty, Dirty and blackish beds, bed sheets, comforters, not daily housekeeping, so loud from other rooms, windows don't have proper curtains for privacy, some portion left open so any one can see into your room while walking on the lobby. Booked 3 night, was thinking it is cheaper but wasn't. 180 per night. and they are saying economical hotel. Forgot to checkout as was in impression that I have 4 nights booking, huge penalty for late check out, asked to stay, they told penalty + 180 $ per nigh. I got Holiday Inn by $ 115/night, excellent rooms and services. Even worst behaviour....... DON'T stay any time!!!!!!

Hotel staff were verry rude and started screaming at my dad pritty much as soon as we stepped in the door. I was there for a week as everyone else was booked in the area. After I checked out they charged me 59.00 for a stain on the sheets that was already there. The towels and bedding are old and stained up. The place.has an unpleasant smell when you walk in. Walls are paper thin and you can hear when someone closes a door. If you want to get no sleep and charged for there maintenance this is the place for you. Another wise stay as far away as you can.

I wish I would have read the reviews sooner. We decided not to stay at this hotel once we got there. First of all, the lady at the reception was very rude. Also, the hotel smelled very bad. Then, she wanted to make us sign a contract that added hidden fees that were not advertised. Furthermore, the contract stipulated a lot of unreasonable demands, such as giving the staff access to the room 24 hours a day, charges for smells, which can't be contested (note that the hotel already smelled bad to begin with), and other charges as well, such as using the towels. I wanted to take a picture of the contract but she would not let me do it, she raised her voice at me to the point where she was almost screaming. She said that the contract was to protect them because the police was often there, suggesting it was not a safe neighbourhood. I did not feel comfortable going forward with the reservation. I tried issuing for a refund and the staff gave an illusive and dishonest excuse as to not give the deposit back. I will keep attempting to get a refund to receive my money back. Do not book at this hotel. Horrible people, horrible place, they should not be allowed to run a business. Scamers, liars, and criminals.

Bad welcome from the receptionist. I did not have access to the room reserved for three nights. She didn't give me the chance to stay. Not cooperative at all. I do not recommend this hotel to any tourist. Do not try to check in for a restful stay.

I HAD A TBI ND POSSOBLITY OF BRAON CANCER AND NOW FIGHTING THE BIGGEST BATTLE OF MY LIFE ND THE LAST T HING A P3RSON WANTS IS TO GO TO A PPLACE AGTER HOSPITWL EXHAUSSED FROM THE PAIN AND THE BEDS ARE COVERED IN BUGS... THEY ARE ITCHY TO EVEN SIT ON THE FLOORS RIDDLED WITH BED BUGS AND THE BUILDING IS RIDDLED.WITH PESTS...BC IF YOU CWN AEE THAT MANY TO TH3 HUMMAN EYE THE PLACE IS 100X MORE INFESTEED ELSEWHERE.... Absolutely the worst motel ever. What a rip off. Charged extra money because of paying with a debit card? Booked and pre paid for three nights. Too Wasn’t cleaned and is in bad state. Gross actually!! Wanted refund after first night and they refused! Left anyway as we felt disgusted staying here. Manager is a very nasty lady with no care for people. Kept saying “ you signed the contract”. Co tract for staying at a hotel? Never ever stay at this crap hole. Better to sleep in your car for $300 a night!!
