I went on a honeymoon. I liked the cleanliness of the facility and the service. Have a great time and go back.

The hotel room is too old, all restaurants are only open at night, and there is only a buffet at noon, and the food quality is quite poor.

The interior of the hotel is very old, don't book, you have to book for a few days, you will regret it, look at the Google reviews and don't believe the ratings If you see the reviews, book the Mexican restaurant first. The bistro is hard to eat, don't order it, it's not as good as the buffet, although the buffet is not good at night. There are a lot of activities in the hotel, so just keep an eye on it at night. The pool is closed at night. If you can book a coral, you can book a coral (another building facing the sea, all in this hotel, exclusive beach chairs/beds, exclusive swimming pool focus on buffet) Original: Wasted a whole day changing rooms. Booked kingsize, no room for double queen. On the first day, it said that it could be changed on the second day, on the second day, it said that it could be changed at 3:00 pm on the third day, and when it arrived at 3:00 pm, it said that it could be changed as early as 4:00 pm. Front desk registration is slow, slower than Canada. The Samsung facilities in the room are old, the toilet is broken, the two lamps and three wall plugs are broken - only one lamp works, and the bottom of the bathtub is cracked and rusted. Doors and roof are not soundproofed and there is constant noise from 6am to 11am. Only one of the two cafeterias is open. One of the three elevators is broken. It is very slow and not linked. Now it is even slower, and it is faster to take the stairs. Google's inflated review was deceived hh Well, this is after changing the room: the toilet lights are one-fourth as bright as before, and the exhaust fan doesn't work. All rooms have poor sound insulation. The sound of dragging luggage upstairs in the morning, and the noise of cleaning and dragging furniture in the corridor in the morning. The floor of the room is really noisy. If you want to sleep in, bring earplugs. The benefits of higher floors: better visibility, no sound from the pool outside, fewer people in the corridor and less noise. The elevator takes a long time. If the floor is low, you can go downstairs directly by taking the stairs, but it will be very noisy. When all the doors are closed, the sound in the corridor will be more obvious. I have to say that the balcony door is still soundproof. The Xiaohongshu I ate had diarrhea and fever. We all drink mineral water except for drinks, and there is no problem. It does, however, include alcoholic beverages. Bring your own mask, the hotel does not prepare masks for guests. Wasted a whole day to change rooms. I ordered kingsize, the front desk said that there is no kingsize room now, so gave me a double queen. On the first night, they said they could change it the next day, on the second day they said they could change it at 3:00 pm on the third day, and when it arrived at 3:00 pm, they said it could be changed as early as 4:00 pm. Nothing guarantees you here, this is Mexico. Front desk registration is slow, slower than Canada. The room was 3 star old, the toilet was broken (like a fire alarm), the two lamps and three wall plugs were broken - only one light worked, the bottom of the bathtub was cracked and rusted. Doors and roof are not soundproofed and there is constant noise from 6am to 11am. Only one of the two buffet is open. One of the three elevators stopped running. It was very slow. Now it is super slow. It is faster to take the stairs. This is a "Mexican 5 star" hotel with poor interior maintenance. Don't trust Google ratings.

I booked hotel on Trip.com, and upon arrival my room was not ready. Front desk staff said that I should not try to book reservations on a Sundays because they are usually booked. She told me to wait an hour for my confirmation to reach their system, it never did. I preceded to just say swipe a card because my Fiancé and I were tired. They gave us the most basic room overlooking a roof and not the superior room with sea view that I requested from this supposedly 5star hotel. Definitely not 5 star, they give you bottled to fill up water and no bottled water. Rooms looks like Golden girls sitcoms from the late 80s. Definitely will not rebook and looking to be discounted from the hotel for piss poor service.

Our group of 40+ just came back from Iberostar Selection Cancun. I want to report that we didnot have a good experience with them this time, due to a series of incidents. we stayed at the villas and most rooms have issues. My Cabana services 5 out of 6 days were non-existent. The cabana rental was not cheap, and service was supposed to be from 9am to 6pm, good luck with that. it was supposed to come with a butler to get you towels, and a dedicated bartender, but got no service from neither. The butler, Williams, was late upto two hours preparing the Cabanas. Then he didn't provide any service after the initial set up of the beds with 2 towels each, the beds were supposed to be for 4 people but only got 2 towels. I ran into him around 3pm and asked for more towels and he said he would be right back but disappeared the rest of the day. The first day we got lily as our dedicated bartender and she was awesome. The next two days we had Elias and he didn;t show up until almost 1pm and only come back and check on us every 60 to 90 mins, ridiculous. We had to run our own drinks all day. We finally got lily back and we made our trip so much better. They need more staff like lily. . It's a big disappointment and a big change from what I'm used to having in the Cancun area. Also, this hotel is literally falling apart, the rooms are very dated, the dishes stay in the hallways for days, the restaurants are only open from 530pm to 9pm and the only lunch offered is the buffet or the chicken nuggets & hot dogs on the beach. The cafe is the only offering after 9pm and it's limited and doesn't have ice cream. There's only one server on the beach at any given time, so good luck there. The hotel says it's 5 star and you will see great reviews from people staying Coral level, but that is a different building with different service. This hotel is 2.5 star at best and it shows. . If you want to stay in dirty rooms, eat barely edible food and receive indifferent and rude service then stay here!! Seriously I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels all over the world and this is one of the worst. I Highlights of the trip were: -yellow water out of the sink in 5 of the rooms - we had a wheelchair situation as sell....we were told there was only 1 wheel chair in the complex and it was, originally $110 and they will only take cash then it went up to $170. When we refused to pay with cash they tracked us down in the buffet to offer us $110 and we can now pay with cash...WTF - 7 of the rooms had daily "visitors", cockcroaches. - most of us got stomach issues from drinking water and food. we had to buy evian water at the store for $11/bottle. -no AC for 1 night at the whole complex and no AC for 2 nights in 4 of our rooms in the villa after the AC were supposed to be fixed. and was told there was no fan on site . my kids with Asthma almost die due to no AC for 2 nights. We told the night manager, Amando that the thermostat was broken but he didn't care and pretty

The service was really great and all the staff were super helpful and friendly! The food at the buffet was really good and they had such a great variety everyday to choose from! The food at the restaurants were generally pretty good. My favorite was the Japanese Habachi!

Nice - lots of amenities including spa, 3 or 4 restaurants including daily buffets. Staff are very friendly. Veronica Chavez in the lobby/BARE was very friendly and provided excellent service! We really appreciated her warmth and kindness. Entertainment in evenings!

No ac when we got there, and only found out once in the room, they finally fixed it by 1am the next day. I also expected a bigger room for the price we paid on the 8th floor. The bathroom doors are poorly designed so there is a little lake by the time you finish your shower and there is no hair conditioner in the room, so bring your own. Also, it is very hard to swim in the ocean because the waves will drown you. If you come here, like me, to be able to swim every day, go somewhere else. Food is ok and customer service is good.
