Very disappointed in the managements response to the issues/complaints that were presented during our stay. In addition, the resort lacked any activities for guest and the beach was horrible covered with seaweed and smelled like sulfur along with signs warning of the dangers of swimming due to the strong currents. We made several complaints about our accommodation and each time the staff looked shocked as if they had no knowledge of issues in the rooms. Also, as a compensation for the problems with our accommodation they insulted us by offering $50. We stayed for 10 nights. Below is one of the text messages detailing concerns/issues that was sent to management regarding accommodation. Good Evening, We checked into our room today only to find the following issues: 1) there were no drapes covering the balcony door, 2) there was only one robe in the room 3) no cups were provided for the coffee maker We reported the first two issues to the front desk shortly after arrival then went to get some food. Returned after about an hour and nothing had been corrected we reported it again and was assured it would be taken care of but returned again and they had brought the robe but the issue with the balcony drapes had not been addressed which is also when we noticed no cups for the coffee maker. The drapes issue was reported again along with the missing cups. Now they say that we will be moved to another room tomorrow which means that we have to sleep in this room with the sunlight beaming in and we are on vacation. This inconvenience is totally unacceptable and we shouldn’t have had to make multiple complaints about issues with our accommodation. Rough start to our vacation!!!!!
