Premier Inn Carrickfergus

Standard Premier Inn, staff were polite when around the place looked a little run down the bathroom tap wouldn't turn off fully, and the hot water pulsated when in use so getting a shower was hard work without a steady flow we also noticed a sewage smell from time to time not sure if this was inside or outside? when outside i noticed the glasses/cups weren't cleared away from arriving in the morning to returning on the evening the same glasses were still there and the ashtray on the wall was full causing cigarette butts to be left on the floor, great to see window cleaners cleaning the downstairs, however, the upstairs could have done with a wash too, no issues with tea/coffee these were at the reception to take as and when you wanted, missed our breakfast on the Saturday due to not being served until 7 am on weekends and us having a coach trip booked for 7.30 so popped over to Mcdonalds instead, on the whole, a good place to stay with a great view of the castle and harbour

Hotel, staff, rooms, food, parking all great. Would not hesitate to stay here again plus I though very reasonably priced

We've stayed here a lot and it's always pleasant. Shame about the restaurant being sold, always good food and service.

Some staff not very pleasant, carpets in bedroom and hallway looked old and dirty, bed was comfy, asked for the complimentary milk, sugar and coffee to be told could only have 4 of each, so bought our own, outside is dismal to look at, overgrown grass and litter, would definately not be back to this hotel, not value for the money paid.

I have to say this premier inn is the best I’ve stayed in so far. Great location and d quick check in. Room was clean bed was comfortable and good night sleep. Didn’t hear any noise outside the room. Next morning breakfast had a great choice and well stocked. At check out we were struggling with obtaining a taxi. A staff member without asking asked if we wanted help and arranged the taxi (If you see this thank you the driver was hilarious) Thank you for arranging. The view outside was good. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking at Belfast

Stayed here in August as a base for the Liam Gallagher concert in Belfast. Cannot fault the service we received it was Supersonic . The staff were so friendly and very accommodating Some Might Say otherwise but not us. Treated like a Rock and Roll Star Rooms were what you expect from a Premier Inn, clean, tidy comfortable beds attributing to a good night's sleep. Premier inns Round Are Way are just as good. Breakfast was well stocked each morning, overall we just Rolled With It and enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay and relax with friends after the 10k run great hotel and staff hopefully be back

This is a nice hotel in a good location to use as a base for exploring many of Northern Ireland's tourist locations and places of interest. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. The bedroom and shower facilities were very good. There's ample car parking space. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended.

My only problem with the Premier Inn Carrickfergus, was that its free WiFi was practically unusable every day. It was unacceptably slow and I had to terminate many attempted accesses to websites. They do offer a faster WiFi link, but unlike many other organisations, you have to pay for it. They have deliberately downgraded their free WiFi broadband connection to force their visitors to use their premium charges WiFi service. Have stayed there before, their free WiFi service was great.
