Really good room excellent sleep

Basic room with en-suite. Check in via the kebab shop went well!! Stair area was shabby but seemed clean. The room had all of the necessities (tea/coffee making facilities, TV, shower gel, toilet paper) and the bed was comfy and sheets seemed clean. The room itself was also shabby. The window frames haven’t been touched for years. The decorating likewise. There was a peeling poster on the wall and cracks all over the place. It was just very, very tired. But it was only £38 for the night and I only needed a comfy bed and a shower in the morning so it ticked those boxes.

Check-in was very easy. Room had everything i needed - suiltable for one or two nights stay in Cardiff. Located in the centre of Cardiff but very quiet from my room.

ideal as there were 4 of us so we all atayed together. fairly clean, did notice however stains on the curtains (sound petty but it what was noticed) didn't affect our time in Cardiff though.

The staff who I phoned on arrival was brilliant as I don't come from Cardiff, I came from London and thr lady stayed on phone with me telling me where to go and park ect. Parking is terrible as no parking on site so you have to park at NCP multi story car park which would of cost £19.99 per night but luckily I had family near by so I parked else where. My hotel room was not clean as in walls were dirty and tea stains. Thr bed was nice tho and was clean. The shower rim at bottom was held on with black tape and what I payed was not worth it at all. Iv paid the same amount for different hotels and was so much better. This this was very disappointing so much. Hat to pick keys up from the chicken shop next door. Thr stairs where very worn out and looking shabby and the stairs so steep and alot of them and with asthma problems I didn't really go out due to this. I can fault the staff tho as had problems with my remote which they sorted straight away and was so lovely so thr staff made it nice but thr hotel it self needs a big refurbishment. I won't be staying here again.

Unfortunately, i actually had to cancel due to a family circumstance and they were very understanding and accommodating. When i next get a chance to go to Cardiff, i will definitely book to stay here again as they havs been nothing but lovely about everything

Great hotel in the centre of Cardiff. Clean room and comfortable beds. The only downside the ladies had was that there was no full length mirror in the room. Did have Ironing board and iron in the room along with TV, Hair dryer and tea and coffee. Thank you for your hospitality. Make sure you get your parking voucher before you leave as had to pay £32 instead of the £20 quoted.

Great location. Walking distance from train station, castle, great pubs and restaurants. Rooms spacious and had everything you needed. Beds and pillows comfy but could have done with and extra blanket or two. Would definitely stay again.

Really comfortable bed and nice spacious light room. Would definitely return as it’s right in the centre of Cardiff and great value. On seeing the negative reviews I agree it could do with updating and there are areas that aren’t particularly clean like the extraction fan in the bathroom and the condensation build up in the bedroom but overall on somewhere to stay in the heart of Cardiff it’s good 😊
