2-Star Hotels in Central Jakarta

Dafam Express Jaksa is near to the center of the Jakarta, just 1 km even less, a new hotel, bit quiet and in good location for most everything in the city center, staff were helpful and fast response on check in and check out The rooms are spacious and modern decoration, working table, TV, and glass partition between bathroom and bedroom, basic amenities / toiletries, but the shower room is spacious and good shower tap, modern toilet (PS : it doesn't have lock) a comfy clean bed, with an amazing city view (ask the highfloor), and the drinking water available on the dispenser near lifts with water pitcher (so you can refill it).. less bottle. (I experienced a blackout, the lights were on, but I found someone trapped in the lift and the staff could not open it, because there was no key, hopefully this can be fixed) Parking are limited, but reasonable price and I highly recommended to stay here.

Like before front desk, cleaners and securities staff services are awesome. All signs are clear and well explained. Problems: out of blues midnight 4 am loud conversation of a couple next door disturbed me wake up for more than half an hour. Wall proof of sound noise are not well especially with the low morale and ignorant people. Bad luck

At first, I had a feeling that this hotel was modern and smart according to its name and images of the ad, but in fact, this place is a little less well-groomed, especially the corridors and lobby. Another thing with clean and comfortable rooms at relatively cheap prices. The highlight is its strategic location because it is close to the business center, KA station and MRT,

Very quiet hotel, floor 5, room not very large. But the essential thing is there. Storage, TV, AC, hot water, sandals, carafe and tray with glasses available. Unlimited drinking water on landing. Very decent Indonesian breakfast, toast, drinks, I would say that it is missing ”omelette or fried egg...” I extended my stay here

This is a budget hotel, but everything from safety to cleanliness are great. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in my next visit to Jakarta.

Staff excellent. Breakfast food spread excellent. Sleep quality excellent. Cleanliness excellent. For business visit stays it is paradoxical. Place is nearer to office district but within the room there is hardly any place to sit and work. No place to keep your suitcases! The room is cosy but too small for free movement. If not for these I would have gladly given 5 star ratings to all aspects of this facility.

Room is cleaned every day 24 hours front desk and very friendly staff and security. The room was fine for me but if I was in a couple and we had lots of luggage it would be a problem. Very good price for the room. There are 2 laundries 1 minute walk away and they will wash dry and iron clothes for 10000 R a kilo. Lots of great food options great quality and bargains if you enjoy the local cuisine. I stayed on Jalan Jaksa 23 years ago the backpacking scene has long gone now and the 2 remaining tired back in the day hotels that remain are a similar price to this. The taste of Padang food and the smell of clove cigarettes, in the humid air mixed in with a sprinkle of city sewage and street food reignites memories I had long forgotten
