Un parador en un sitio precioso pero que necesita renovar sus habitaciones. El parador tiene unos salones muy agradables para distintos momentos. El restaurante irregular, recuerdo que en años precedentes la cocina era de mas nivel. El personal atento, salvo algunas señoras que atienden el desayuno que son excesivamente rigidas y poco amables. Tras la reforma, ya prevista, seguro que todavia brillará mas.

En general, responde alas expectativas y la estancia resultó muy placentera y agradable. A mejorar: 1. el desayuno no ofrece productos calientes, sólo bajo pedido y muy limitado. Eso es fácilmente mejorable. Desentona. 2. El parking cubierto es de pago y eso no es adecuado cuando el parking exterior está completo. 3. La atención del personal es correcta, pero sólo eso. Entre la corrección y la excelencia existe un trecho. Con poquito más se mejora mucho,

La organización de los desayunos resulta incómoda para los clientes, que tienen que esperar en la puerta a que venga la encargada /o a “permitirles” entrar a desayunar, aunque sea la hora reservada y haya mesas libres y preparadas e incluso el cliente puede ser expulsado del comedor si se le ocurre entrar y sentarse para desayunar. Esto es inaudito y nunca antes, en mas de 20 años utilizando Paradores Nacionales, habíamos sufrido una situación igual. Por otro lado, la falta de actualización de las habitaciones no es propia de un Parador de 4 estrellas (teóricas), el estado de las habitaciones es el mismo que hace unos 24 años, en que habíamos estado alojados, especialmente destaca el estado del baño, que puede definirse como terrible, en ningún caso de 4 estrellas, incluso con suciedad en el inodoro. Finalmente, a veces ser Amigo de Paradores parece mas un perjuicio que un beneficio ya que te asignan las peores habitaciones aunque sea con cargo a la tarifa y no a puntos, lo cual tampoco justificaría que te asignen una habitación mala.

This out of the way Parador is perfect if you want a quiet stay with stunning views. It's an older property and some of the fixtures/fittings in the bathroom are tired but on the plus side - shower pressure was good and everything was very clean and we had a great nights sleep. The resturant served tasty local food - very nicely prepared and presented. The staff were attentive and friendly - we would visit again if in the area.

La habitación fue deplorable (5º abuhardillado): ventana no daba vista a la calle (desagradable sensación de estar en un zulo o sótano), ni tenia aire acondicionado. Un parador creíamos que tenia un estándar de calidad (cualquiera que sea el tipo de tarifa), gran decepción.
