Un très bel endroit, C’est un voyage hors du temps que propose cet établissement La chambre est très confortable mais dans une ambiance 1900 La vue sur Les Drus est fantastique. Le repas du soir est très bon Quel bonheur la petite promenade après repas sur l’esplanade de la gare déserte à cette heure-ci Certes, le prix est élevé, Mais c’est vraiment un endroit où passer une nuit

très mauvais service au niveau de la terrasse, nous avons attendus 40 min pour des boissons qu’on a du réclamer à 3 serveurs différents, pour qu’on nous amène pas celles commandées, et un serveur odieux qui je cite “vous n’allez pas m’apprendre mon métier”… L’organisation reste à désirer.

This place was just unbelievable. The views, the charm, the hospitality, and all right be a glacier in the alps. I can’t say enough about this place. We stayed one night with our teenage children and had a blast. Hiked a few trails nearby, saw the museum, enjoyed the sun from the deck, saw the ice cave, and enjoyed some lovely meals. If you can add this to your travel stops and stay the night.

C’est un grand dépaysement, quand le dernier train est parti à 17 heures on est coupé du monde. Les chambres ont beaucoup de charme, la restauration est très copieuse et l’équipe super gentille. Excellentes randonnées et le paysage étourdissant des pics qui nous entourent

Dans un cadre typique alpin, on a été accueilli merveilleusement bien , notre chambre très spacieuse avec vue sur la mer de glace top ! Dîner délicieux et petit déjeuner copieux toujours avec vue sur la montagne

We stopped just for coffee and waffles. The coffee was average, the waffles were good. The interior and views were very smart. Some of the staff were friendly (particularly a young English man) but the visit was slightly tainted by a grumpy staff member behind the bar. I hope that next time I visit there is a more welcoming atmosphere.

The refuge is well decorated and welcoming, set in beautiful surroundings and managed by a friendly team. We did, however, sleep in a suite where the bedding was very damaged and unfortunately ruined the night. The restaurant is good but the quantities of certain dishes are insufficient, and we heard various clients complain about that. The price doesn't reflect the service provided.
