The premises could be managed better even in off season. Huge area but staff on leave being a lean period may have hampered the maintenance. Nevertheless this place is worth the money spent. Furniture and interiors in dinning space and reception area require the attention of the proprietors. Raj Patankar the GM extremely positive and brilliant person. Could meet him in person but his communication on phone was constant and he had been monitoring his staff while on leave at Mumbai. Sandeep Muske, Sanjay the chef, serves finger licking stuff. The house keeping staff, Prafull and Asmita ensuring the room is kept neat n tidy. Deepak and Ashish manning the dinning hall, ever ready to serve with a smile. Excellent choice for juggle safari. Overall good resort for stay. Well maintained and clean. Staff also cooperative but restaurant is quite expensive

We spotted a snake in our sapphire room, which they were unable to catch & remove. They offered another room which didn't have a working AC, that too in the summer month. Finally we shifted to the room where our family members were staying. Even in the other room, there was a frog in the bathroom. Property maintenance is poor. Except for the premium rooms, all other rooms are poorly maintained. The staff is very lethargic and inattentive. The premises are ill maintained with huge bugs and insects crawling around the porches of all rooms. The swimming pool is ill maintained and filled with insects. Food is bland and service is slow. While they refunded the money I had paid for the sapphire room and upgraded to a premium room for the next night, the experience was very poor. It doesn't compensate the inconvenience caused to us while paying a premium amount and ruining our vacation mood. Finding a snake inside the room is a major safety lapse which is incomprehensible and unpardonable as it put my family with small kid's life in danger.. That too with the premium pricing they ask for. I strongly advise people visiting tadoba to avoid Jharna resort tadoba, to avoid putting your family and family's life at risk.

Terrible experience. This one you should definitely avoid. They are just after your money. Only plus point was service at the restaurant, very polite staff. However, food menu needs to be upgraded.

Very close to Navegaon Gate. Property is in Buffer Zone . Staff is very Friendly. Restaurant serves delicious food. Single Cottages are huge in size. Common facilities like garden , play area need better maintenance..

Cons: after checkin we got to know swimming pool was under repair. We choose this property because of pool and children play area, which was also not fully construct. The food prices are extremely exorbitant. They charge rs 100 for 200 ml milk. Also breakfast is served only from 8. 30 to 9. 30 am. Same breakfast they charged us at rs 1400 extra since we had gone to morning safari and had it at 10. 20 am. No change in breakfast consumed from the one served at 8. 30 am. Very few guests at the property and under maintenance and hence they try to earn maximum from the available guests at the property. Very rude and pathetic front desk staff, they are trained to charge maximum to the customer. Pros: good naturalist they have hired in the name of parag deshpande, explained us many things about the jungle life and tigers over various session he had conducted, like nature trail, jungle talk, well learned practical guy. Restaurant manager ravi i yer and yogesh were very supporting. They offered food choices for our kids who can't have regular spicy food. They ensured to take good care of every individual. Apart from above, didn't like the resort at all.

We went on a 2 nights stay at jharna lodge with family of 5. The rooms are huge & very expensive, they don't provide toiletries like toothbrush, shaving kits etc. They are providing liquid soap, shampoo & towels only. The restaurant food is tastey and they provide good packed breakfast for safari also. The property is situated around 400m from navegaon gate & provide foc transfers to same. Transport to other gates of tadoba is very expensive & the quality of cars is also not very good. Their check in time is 1300hrs & they never provide free of cost early checkin, if you are booking afternoon safari on day of arrival then you are bound to pay early checkin charges. We went in month of february & found dry leaves & dust all around kids play area which made it un-usable. Also, the swimming pool had lot of dust and jungle debris which needed to be cleaned. The restaurant staff is very humble & courteous, served the food with lots of passion & was open to feedback. The rooms are huge & clean.
