The staff and chef are friendly and proactive, which is a positive aspect of the resort. However, the Sapphire room, though the best option, needs repainting, and the flooring requires better cleaning. The bathroom was initially dirty and had to be cleaned. The geyser’s low capacity made the bathtub unusable. A snake spotted outside the room raised safety concerns, especially for kids and adults at night. The food, though spicy, was decent, but the buffet spread was small and not worth the Rs. 3500 charged. Overall, the resort needs improvements, especially since better options like Tuli Resorts are available at similar pricing.

We stayed at Jharna Resort from 4th to 5th January 2025. While the resort has a pleasant ambiance and is good for relaxation, there are a few areas that need improvement. The food was not very tasty, and the menu was quite limited. Room service was average and could be more prompt. The resort could benefit from adding more amenities like indoor games and swings for photo enthusiasts. Additionally, the management didn’t seem very proactive in assisting with safari bookings, and there doesn’t appear to be a proper tie-up with safari gates. Overall, it’s a decent place, but there’s room for enhancement.

1. Food quality: Bad quality food, limited options, poor presentation at restaurant The breakfast buffet was a huge disappointment with minimal options and most of the food was stale." 2. Resorts is not worth on these room charges, and facilities are not up to mark please don't waste money and time to choose these resorts,try to use some other good options near moharali gate.

Overall we enjoyed the stay at Jharna Resort. It is located close (200 meters) from the Navegaon gate and probably the best stay option in that area. The food in the Restaurant was also good, the packed breakfast basket was good but not as luxurious as some of the other jungle resort breakfast boxes. The only issue we faced and hence 4/5 rating is that there was a musty/moist smell in the Sapphire cottage that we stayed in (Room 109).

Nothing great abt this property. Ok types only. 1) Check-in was horrible, staff was unprofessional. It was quite evident by their body language that they are greedy. 2) My booking was thru bookingDOTcom which they didn't like perhaps and then they straight away denied certain parameters of booking and we ended up to pay more as per their demands. You can imagine what else we could have done in this remote area. 3) Food is okay. Tea isn't even okay. 4) Property is spacious enough to stroll around 5) Swimming pool is hardly two-three feet and not maintained as well. Who would dare enter such a deep pool. 6) Besides the reception and front desk, other staff is good.

Awesome experience for us, a group of 12.!Such an amazing place with such tranquility. Nicely put together in the buffer zone. A special shout-out to Chef Sanjay & Team for some mouth-watering food.!!We have already decided to visit again

Very courteous front desk and restaurant staff, they take good care of guests. Well maintained place. Chances of tiger sighting in Tadoba seems to be very high compared to other national parks. We had two safaris one in core zone and other in buffer zone and sighted tiger in both.

Bear with the long review. What i endured was worse than this review. After booking through Agoda, someone contacts me on Whatsapp saying that i rather book through the resort directly and they will offer me significant discount. I did not trust this person until they shared my complete Agoda booking details which comforted me that no one else by Jharna resort would have my personal and booking details with them. I went ahead and cancelled Agoda booking and paid the person for the accommodation, 3 times meals, tiger safari bookings and also for date change fee. All in, i paid Rs. 17,800. After driving for more than 800 kms from Mumbai, in the evening of check-in i understand that the resort guys already know of this scam and that i had to pay for my accommodation again (albeit at a "goodwill" discounted price of Rs 9000). I, ***** with the hotel manager, went to Chimur police station to file complaint. To my surprise, the hotel manager did not file any complaint against the scammer and only asked me to file the complaint, which i did, against Jharna resort for leaking my personal data to anonymous people outside, and i claimed refund of my original money paid. The resort manager called in sick the day we were to checkout. Also the hotel owner, who was to turn up to meet us, also cancelled his visit. The resort leaks data and then makes you pay twice. Chimur police asked the resort to refund us our money that was paid to the scamster. However, they havent. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY BOOKING AT THIS RESORT.
