This is a very special hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the restaurant is incredible. Our room was immaculate and fantastic. The views from the hotel are perfect and the vibe of the decor is really fun. It does take a 10-15 dollar cab ride to get to the historic city center. Recommend 100 percent.

What a special little place! If you read no further, all you need to know is we are super particular and this has the highest rating of all the hotels we stayed at. Our arriving flight was delayed for just over two hours, meaning that an already late arrival became a midnight check in. We messaged the hotel just before we took off to let them know and to ask if there would be someone available to receive us. We received a message back from the hotel within 2 minutes, telling us there would absolutely be someone at reception and it was no issues, so no need to rush or stress. On (late) arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful crisp, clean and very new hotel. First impressions were very good. On arrival at the reception, the gentlemen was expecting us, knew our name and had everything ready. Knowing we had a little arduous journey, had offered to take us straight to our room, or would happily make us a drink. We decided to have a drink. As we found with all the staff, they pitched the conversation perfectly. Not intrusive, but interested and always incredibly happy and smiling. We arrived in our room. We booked the Ambassador room with sea view. It was special in every way. New, crisp, well decorated, smelling amazing. A wonderful view over Chania. We realised we had also been gifted a lovely bottle of fizz, so sat and enjoyed the wonderful view. Breakfast is served in the room. Just call in the morning when ready and it is brought to you. It, like everything about this hotel was very very good. Fresh, great selection and lots of it! We treated ourselves to two spa treatments. These were excellent, professional and very relaxing. We found the price to be very reasonable, especially considering the professionalism and quality. The main event at this hotel is the staff. They are very lovely people. We have never stayed at a hotel where we had been made to feel so welcome and not just a guest. Every interaction, from reception to maids, from bar to room service staff was great. The pleasant nature is contagious and it made us feel great. The location is perfect, out of the way (enough to be quiet), but close enough (5 minutes/€10 taxi) to the town. Often there are places we stay and we find something that wasn’t quite right. That simply was not the case here. Couldn’t recommend strongly enough. A must stay.

This boutique hotel was top shelf! Everything was delightful at this hotel! The staff were great. The food created at this restaurant was amazing! Definitely have dinner in the restaurant and the pricing was fair. We loved the private pools and the view was extraordinary. I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to anyone!

I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone. From the moment we stepped in, we felt like we were in paradise. Check-in was supposed to be at 3 PM, but they were kind enough to let us in at 12:30. They even offered us coffee during our short wait in the lobby. In the room, we found a complimentary bottle of bubbles, which was a lovely touch to start our stay. The room was sparkling clean, and the swimming pool on the terrace was perfectly warm with a lovely view. The common swimming pool and jacuzzi were available until 10 PM, and it was unbelievably not busy; we always had it to ourselves. Every member of the staff was very helpful, professional, and had a big smile. The entire space was very quiet at all time, even if it was fully booked we never heard anything a part water sound from the pools, that particularly made us sleep so well. The restaurant was also excellent, and the tagliatelle with mushrooms was the best dish! It was the perfect way to finish our two-week holiday in Crete. You must stay here before leaving!

Very nice hotel, very clean and new, the location is perfect and there’s an amazing view from the room. Very friendly stuff, especially Chris who was at the reception. She was very pleasant and gave us the best recommendations for restaurants in the city. The breakfast in the hotel was nice. We enjoyed our stay there. Very recommended.

The Lagon Boutique Hotel was superb! The inside is sparkling white, designed to be elegant, beautiful and soothing. We had a lovely room with private pool and it was absolutely heavenly. A massage with Maria M. is a must. She was fantastic!!! A huge, varied, delicious breakfast is delivered each morning to your room and other meals can also be delivered if you wish. Kris, the front desk Manager was extremely kind and helpful with any questions we had. Treat yourself to this amazing experience!
