The 1st Room we had the chair was torn and the TV did not work. The 2nd Room the bathroom was dirty and paint was peeling. The staff was great but the property is run down....

Chair in the room was splattered with what looked to be a man's bodily fluids. We were told by staff to drag it into the hallway and that if someone was able they would clean and return it but it was unlikely. Chair was still in the hall when we checked out. Only a lid for an ice bucket, no actual bucket. Had to go to front desk to retrieve our own. Room phone doesn't work. TV remote didn't work. Took 3 trips to the front desk to get the tv remote corrected and the front desk employee was very unpleasant about it.

Hotel was well located to take in much of the area. Literally right across the street from the Clay Center and Planetarium. Many great restaurants and Pubs nearby. Rooms were recently remodeled.
Easy access to the Interstate and plenty of parking.
Staff was awesome and loved their jobs!
Definitely would stay there again when we visit Charleston, WV

The room has been recently updated and is looking great! The wonderful lady at the desk knew everything! ! Her customer service was impeccable and I can tell she keeps that place afloat. She also helped the last time I stayed with booking. She is a blessing to that hotel!
