The room smelled heavily of cigarettes, the sheets were old and torn, and even my pajamas smelled of cigarettes when I woke up the next day. Not recommended

My name is Laneda Williams I'm writing this grievance complaint . I was treated unfairly and my civil rights had been violated.  I checked  in on April 4 , 2023 and stayed in room 139 with bed bugs and roaches. The roach was big and had babies too.   I brought a can of raid . I didn't know they had bed bugs until I finally laid up under their sheets after a week.  So, I was woken up by something biting me I turned on the light and looked on the pillow and there was a bed bug. I went to the office at 2:00 am in my night clothes  and told the staff that I have bed bugs, I went to room  229 and moved my belongings from 139 room to the new  room . Okay,  I was made whole with that situation .  Now, I paid by the week the total  amount  is $496.74  times 4 for the month. The grand total is $1,979.04 . I just paid for the room  again (weekly) on Friday 28, 2023 and early Sunday morning around 12:00 am.  i was told that i had to leave the premise because i had my door open. The  lady security  guard did not  knock on my door she was too lazy to walk up the stairs to tell me to close my door. But, instead she screamed from the top of her lungs , like a block away to tell me to close my room door. Motel 6 robbed  me of my money  that consisted  of $494.74 . I  have all of my recipients for proof . I contracted the Health department and BBB about this matter. WHERE'S MY MONEY  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  REFUND MY MONEY !!!!!!!w

A friend and I were vacationing in Charleston and stayed here for four nights.  The beds were okay, and the room was fairly clean.  It was functional.  The bathroom was in fair condition.  It was on the dirty side.  The outside of the hotel looked a bit run down.  Employees were okay.  There was a slight stinch in the room.  Furniture was damaged, and the blanket in our non-smoking rooms had cigarette burns in them.  The 2nd floor walkway slanted a bit more than it should have.  Overall, it was an okay stay.

If you enjoy fearing for your life, black mold all over the air conditioning unit inside your room, bloody sheets, getting propositioned for sex everytime you step out your door ,***** activity ,and cigarette buns in the comforter of your non smoking room! Then this is the place for you!! And it doesn't stop there folks!! It gets better!! The room doesn't come with a coffee pot or clean bedding but you do get dried blood and snot wiped along the walls and night stand by your bed. I guess that's considered a gift with purchase. So good luck and I hope all your vaccinations are up to date.
