The room was gorgeous. Very neat very clean. When I first arrived, I didn't recieve the room I originally saw on website. When I called the front desk and informed them about it, the front desk agent went above and beyond to find me the correct room and near the elevator which was a plus since I and another family member is disabled. I wish I knew her name but I do not remember. She was fantabulous with my checkin process. The only complaint I had was the elevator was so far down the hallway for me to walk with my walker and housekeeping came only once out of my 5 day stay. Other than that. The hotel is quiet and the breakfast is very good. Also was in a good location. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

Storage area for smaller items such as my purse and camera. Plenty of room for our luggage. We were only overnight, but would be perfect for a week long stay. Bagged breakfast was much better than the previous hotel we stayed at. I've attached a picture. Room was clean. Friendly staff. I refuse to be the ”mask police” as I've seen what wearing a mask does to some (including myself). Every staff and guests I saw had a mask on. The walls are a little thinner than I like. I can hear the neighboring rooms TV. I could hear a cat meowing earlier. We more than likely will stay again, but I will ask for a room away from highway traffic. Window blind is great for keeping the room dark! You can't even tell it's daylight with it closed!

Very comfortable hotel!

I visit Charlotte, NC often to see my family. I normally stay at the Hilton Garden Inn South Park location. On this particular visit I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn in Waverly. I was not disappointed. The gentleman at the front desk whose name is James gave exceptional customer service. I travel a lot and I must say this is the first time that I did not have to complain about the sheets not being clean, the bathroom not being clean etc….My room was perfect and very clean. It made my stay worthwhile! Thank you James and the House Cleaning team @ Hilton Garden Inn Waverly! :)

I am literally still crying from my “special trip” that I had planned at this hotel. Flew in family (one of which is sick and dying and it maybe my last time seeing her). Rented fancy cars for everyone. Had planned a spa retreat for my daughters 18th bday and Mother’s Day for the women that have been there for us. I was a 15 year old mother, I was left homeless and hungry. I fought to be a mother, build a business, and my daughter and I had finally made it. I had remembered going to the hotel before for a dinner. I thought it would be a perfect spa day/special place. I am still crying as I type this. - I paid and booked in advance because the booking agent said they could accommodate us at the spa. I paid for the nicest room/cottage. Since we were just coming for a fun day/evening, I wanted it to be perfect. Which is why I went to a “Luxury” resort. I knew things had to be right and with a resort with this level achievements, it would absolutely be right… or so I thought. - First I had to call 3 times and several people after the spa reservation wasn’t made by the original person that booked at Marriott. - Upon trying to get the appointment at the spa, they had no availability and the woman was truly nasty. So I pay private people to come in last minute. - I arrive and the grounds are a MESS. Complete construction site, dead plants, trash, I was so confused.Nothing like what I had been promised or expected. It was a giant construction site. - The valet is the same person as the bellman. They have all these white men in suits standing around that are management while they make one little brown man do all the work. Let’s call this the “Legal Slavery” Marriott. -No one warned us or even bothered helping us to the cottage. This put us behind because we were lost for an hour in the construction. We missed out dinner reservations and had to eat my daughters bday dinner at some crappy place that could accommodate 9 people last minute. - We get to the “fancy” cottage/house. It disgusting. Red wine is all over the carpet. There are broken glasses in the bushes and on the patio (clearly had been there for a long time). There was an ant infestation and all of the food we ordered was covered in bugs. - Then I go to talk to the manager on duty on Sunday. Because I was crying in the middle of the lobby. He was dismissive and walked away and left me crying in the lobby on my daughters bday. The massages were cancelled and everything I had planned had been ruined, completely. - His boss comes in and makes excuses for him and comps the disgusting room that they shouldn’t be renting. However, makes NO attempt to take responsibility for any of the implications that their lies and laziness caused. Nothing was figured out, not only that but I had spent the entire time I was there trying to get things fixed, so I didn’t even see my family that I paid to fly in. I spent thousands to have one special day at their hotel and they sold me something that was a

We were here 2 years ago and returned to all the things we loved before all over again: hot scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurts, little milk cartons (even fat free) and the nicest breakfast ladies who treat you like a guest in their home… fitness center with free weights and mats… outdoor pool and jacuzzi (although right now closed for the season)… friendly housekeepers who give you everything you need… screened windows that open for a breeze… a quiet location, but light out in several directions for wonderful long walks (including right across the street to a Harris Teeter, Target and movie theaters).
