heel aangenaam onthaal. Alles wordt goed uitgelegd, wachttijd voor inchecken was goed . Lounge heel rustgevend, avondmaal heel verzorgd.

Merci infiniment à Lucie, ma masseuse du spa grand monarque. Lucie a réalisé un massage aux pierres chaudes qui était juste divin pour se détendre. Je recommande les yeux fermés le spa du grand monarque, son standing est toujours aussi excellent.

L'hôtel le Grand Monarque est un hôtel luxueux où se sent bien. il est idéalement placé, la cathédrale est à deux pas à pied. Le personnel de l'hôtel est aux petits soins pour les clients et le SPA offre des bons moments de détente. Hôtel à recommandé aux stressés, aux grincheux et aux insatisfaits. Op de terugweg naar huis een tussenstop gemaakt in Chartres en gelogeerd in het Grand Monarque hotel. Wat een charmant hotel is dit. Erg mooie rustige kamer, mooie badkamer en apart toilet. ‘s Avonds prima gegeten in een van de restaurants in het hotel. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Uitstekend ontbijt in een mooie ontbijtzaal. De bekende kathedraal ligt op een paar minuten lopen. Wij hebben geparkeerd in het grote Q-park aan de overkant maar desgewenst kan het hotel je auto ook voor je parkeren. Als we nog eens in Chartres komen gaan we hier zeker weer logeren.

Hard to fault, medium sized Hotel within easy reach of the Cathedral and station. We had a twin room, to the front but not noisy, with a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. Breakfast was excellent, especially the pastry! Also, really nice coffee from a serve yourself Nespresso machine. We did not eat in the bistro, but did have a very pleasant meal in the restaurant. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend, would definitely stay again.
