The location and environment are good. One thing to note is that the inn has three floors, but there is no elevator. It is a bit troublesome to live upstairs with a lot of luggage. But when we checked in, the service staff was very considerate to help us carry our luggage, and we were quite embarrassed.
Living on the third floor, you can see Bangchui Mountain through the window. The lights are on at night. Not bad.
The car can be parked in the parking lot opposite, which is very convenient. There is also a family of five cats in the parking lot.
We stayed for two consecutive days, and they came to help us clean the room and replace toiletries the next day. If there is not enough water, you can ask the waiter to help get a few more bottles.
There was a problem with the water for bathing. The water flow was very small and not hot. It may be a peak period. The store expressed apologies in time and the attitude was very good.
Overall, it is good. There is a response.

The stay was ok. The pros were the very kind women at the front desk. The location is great. The shower was good with a lot of hot water. When I had a specific complaint about a room, I got another room instantly. There were several cons though. The whole hotel smelled of smoked and perfume that tried to cover the smoke smell. The cleaning standard does not live up to our standards. There were several hairs from the previous guests. The floor was dusty in corners and under the bed. The river couldn’t be seen well due to dirty windows. The bed was very hard. The breakfast is McDonalds, we were hoping to get traditional Chinese breakfast.

The hotel upgraded me to a superior king-size bed room for free, which was very satisfying. They also gave me two bottles of drinks for free, one bottle of Coke and one bottle of Sprite. It was raining in Chengde that day, and they lent me an umbrella, which was very nice. The service of Xuanxuan and Mingming at the front desk was also very good. I was very satisfied.

The front desk staff is enthusiastic and the check-in experience is good.
The room is spacious and bright: clean and tidy, spacious, you can see the scenery outside the window in two directions, you can overlook Bangchui Mountain, appetizers and almond tea are provided on the coffee table in the room, it feels very warm, and there are free mineral water and cola in the refrigerator, which feels a bit like home.
The hotel has free parking and convenient parking. The only drawback is that there is no charging pile.
The hotel is located in the commercial district, which is convenient for travel. It is about a 10-minute drive to the Summer Resort and other attractions. You can walk around the streets to find food, go to the market and supermarket, and experience the local cultural life.

The room is nice. The sculptures in the lobby are really good. You should put up a brief introduction, a scenic spot explanation, and talk about the murals. I admired it for a long time, but I didn't see it all.
It would be better if there were more local characteristics in the breakfast, such as the mixed bean curd skin, which is different from other places. It's great~ The coffee machine is very busy, so get another one... In addition... the almond tea is really sweet... I suggest not to make it so sweet, I can't drink it even if I want to.

❤For this stay, I must give a positive review. I really like the decoration style here, it's very high-end and smart, and there's also a robot delivery service. And the facilities are very new and complete. Many small details are well done, which won my heart. Very comfortable stay here. The hygiene is also very good. I stayed here for many days and the room was cleaned carefully every day. There is also a free underground garage and the transportation is very convenient, close to the South Station. In short, this is the place to stay when you come to Chengde city. Although I have to go to Shuangluan or Shuangqiao every day, I still choose to stay here every time. Because there were elderly people traveling with me, I asked the hotel to stay on the same floor before checking in. The hotel front desk upgraded me to a luxurious double room without saying a word. In the bed room, the sofa in the room can be pulled out to become a single bed. It is especially convenient for us traveling with two children. The room is clean and tidy, and the cleaning staff is very good. Maybe they saw children in the room and gave it to us. Disposable face towels, soaps, etc. are added; the elevator entrance on the 4th floor where you stay is right next to the gym and laundry room, with 3 washing machines and 3 dryers, which can be dried in half an hour; the most satisfying thing is the buffet breakfast. There is a wide variety of drinks, coffee, cold dishes and hot dishes, and the service is very good. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Chengde. Highly recommended.

This is a whole suite with a yard, which can easily accommodate three families. The room is clean and hygienic, and the facilities are modern. There is a kitchen and three bathrooms, and a large yard filled with all kinds of fruits and vegetables (the boss is definitely an expert at growing vegetables!). It is only ten minutes' walk from the gate of Jinshanling Great Wall, which is very convenient. The boss and his family are very, very kind. Compared with the attached five-star Jinshanling Great Wall Hotel, the conditions are better and the price-performance ratio is super high.

MMaria InmaculadaMy experience was overall good, but the bathroom of the room I booked for the first night (single, queen bed) was so stinky at night that I could not bear it. I called the concierge, and the maid came to clean the bathroom (they were very fast= good service) but the problem is in the pipes, not in the cleanliness, (it was very clean) so spraying a bit of air freshener won't solve the problem. I changed rooms the following night.
Also, it was quite noisy at night and in the early morning, they should keep an eye on noisy guests.
Last thing, but not less important, people were smoking inside the hotel corridors and it was stinky. The management should try to enforce the rules of non-smoking. I understand that know nobody in the hotel wants to call on the smoking clients, but not enforcing the law results in other clients being unhappy too.
All in all, I would probably stay there again.

JJoyceWe had a wonderful stay! The family is super friendly, hospitable and helpful. The location is really fantastic, right around the corner at the entrance. You can go up and down by cable car or via the path. You can enjoy the sunset and sunrise on the Great Wall of China.
The room was very spacious, clean and fully equipped. The food was delicious. The family was always ready to answer our questions and provided sublime service. I would definitely recommend this B&B!
And this part of the Great Wall of China is beautiful, with beautiful views and few tourists.

The surrounding is cozy, the room are clean with no cigarette odour even they provide ash tray in the room (suggest owner take away the ash tray and put a notice smoke at provider smoking area out side the premises), toilet are bright and water pressure is good (but hope the owner can make a little bit changes for the wiring system of the water heater), the food is tasty and size are too big for solo traveller (suggest to owner set a
price for small size for not wasting food), the owner parents are friendly and always give the good service. At night, surrounding is quite and good to rest. it is a walking distance to Jing shang ling tourist center but if planning to do the sunrise walk the owner will provide a transfer service to the entrance at 330am. Overall it is a good choice to stay here.

LLisilaoyeThe location is very good. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the Summer Resort. Taking a taxi to Putuo Zongcheng Temple and Puning Temple costs about ten yuan. Moreover, the hotel has its own parking space, which is too difficult to get. If there is a flaw in terms of location, it is that there is a railway to the east of the hotel, which is at the back of the hotel. The hotel front desk informed this when checking in, so be mentally prepared. There are about two trains every night, and I don't know why the whistle blows every time. The hotel's facilities are okay. There is a sauna on the ground floor and a self-service laundry room on the second floor, which is very convenient in summer. I stayed in a family room, and it would be perfect if there was a small refrigerator. The sanitation is good, the hotel is very new, the equipment is relatively new, and the Internet is very fast. There are also many places to eat in the surrounding area and all kinds of conveniences. MMooMooooThe location of this hotel is excellent if you are wanting to do an early morning sunrise at Jingshanlin Great wall. This hotel is just right at the foot of the great wall entrance!
From the time when we check in to check out, to the staff at the restaurant, they all provided excellent service, with a good smile, friendliness and willingly to help if you have any questions. They are very accommodating for our needs as well since we have a few of us that's vegetarian.
The breakfast provided in the morning is excellent and very very fueling. Healthy too. If you want more of something that you like, they will bring it out again. We ate at the restaurant at night too, and the food was good.
The room has all the amenities you need. Too bad the spa was not open when we're there (due to maintenance).
Overall, excellent place to stay, right at the foot of the great wall. Jingshanlin Great wall is beautiful and one of the beautiful section of the great wall. Definitely worth a visit.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy. I took a break one day and didn't go out, so it was quiet all day long. The family members all agreed that they had a good rest at night and the quality of their sleep was very high.
The boss's own restaurant serves delicious meals three times a day, with large portions, fresh food, and good quality at low prices. The big steamed buns are delicious, and there are also fried eggs, fried mushrooms, tofu soup, pimple soup... The lady boss grows green onions and cucumbers herself, and every dish is delicious.
The proprietress is beautiful and enthusiastic. We have elderly people and children. The proprietress takes good care of both the children and the elderly. The boss heard that we wanted to climb the Great Wall to watch the sunrise, so he drove us to the ticket office at 4 a.m. for both days of our stay. Thank you.
This trip to the Jinshanling Great Wall was very enjoyable, and I highly recommend Cuijia Xiaoyuan.
Forget taking photos at the B&B, post some beautiful views of the Great Wall!

AAnonymous UserI would like to highlight three things in which I felt were very pleasant during my stay at the lodging.
First, I was pleasantly surprised at the service they offered. When my family and I were staying at lodging, the workers were extremely heartwarming and kind. They were willing to answer any questions we had about the attractions nearby and even drove us to the Jinshan Ling Great Wall of china Nearby.
Second, I would like to highlight the amenities and activities offered at the lodging. Although we only scratched the surface of the activities they offered. The lodging provided us with countless options. From having a mini movie theatre as well as pool & billiards room, they also offered a wide range of outdoor adventures such as kayaking and fishing which will surely enrich your stay there. Furthermore, the amenities themselves at the room we were staying in were exceptional. The lodging was spacious and provided us with separate rooms to stay in, making our stay an extremely pleasant one.
Lastly, I would like to highlight the food at the lodging itself. At every lodging one books I’m sure one would look forward to having delectable food right within a stone’s throw away. Needless to say, the food offered by the lodging from breakfast to dinner was both delicious and affordable.
I would highly recommend booking a stay here should you want to visit the attractions in the area but don’t forget to take time to enjoy and experience the adventures offered by the lodging too!

RRODBy far the best accommodation in Chengde, in relation between price and quality. The service was amazing!!! I don't know how much money the reception ladies make, but they deserve a raise, every single time I had a question they were able to answer, from places to go, to places to eat. Limited english support, of course, but a translation app does the job. The room I stayed in was male-only. The beds all had curtains, an indoor light, and a private plug for charging, so no complaints. The in-room bathroom was always clean aswell.
The only con would be the amenities, no towel, no toothbrush, but I had brought my own so not a problem for me, and this is begging to look like common practice at hostels worlwide. And you need to make your own bed. Aside from that everything was perfect.
