By far the best accommodation in Chengde, in relation between price and quality. The service was amazing!!! I don't know how much money the reception ladies make, but they deserve a raise, every single time I had a question they were able to answer, from places to go, to places to eat. Limited english support, of course, but a translation app does the job. The room I stayed in was male-only. The beds all had curtains, an indoor light, and a private plug for charging, so no complaints. The in-room bathroom was always clean aswell. The only con would be the amenities, no towel, no toothbrush, but I had brought my own so not a problem for me, and this is begging to look like common practice at hostels worlwide. And you need to make your own bed. Aside from that everything was perfect.

Great spot for a night, easy to get to all the major sights in Chengde by bus from this hostel. It is very central.

I am satisfied. For very low price I've got comfortable, clean and quiet room. Staff doesn't speak English, but is very helpful and friendly. They allowed me to check-in at the middle of the night (at arround 4 AM) and they didn't charge me for that additionally.

The room is very clean, with capsule beds. Each room has a private bathroom, which is very convenient. The hostel is very warm. The boss and the front desk lady are very considerate. It's a great experience! The cat is called Youyou, very well-behaved and cute!

Who is not a teenager? We, the post-80s, have a rare opportunity to find a good place to reminisce about our youth. We can gather freely, drink a little wine, chat happily, and rest on the upper and lower bunks, as if we were back in college. Highly recommended (the boss is sincere and handsome) It is worth experiencing!

I must recommend this Freedom, although I don't know what the first word is called hahahaha It's very clean, the boss lady is very enthusiastic The waiters are all young and very easy to communicate with It's only a seven or eight minute walk to the Summer Resort, and there are snacks around, such as mutton soup, etc. It's very warm, and the boss is a traveler and very nice

The sanitation is very good, the bedding is very clean and freshly washed. There is an air conditioner and a separate bathroom in the room. The location is really just a ten-minute walk to the Summer Resort. The bed is not big but very cozy. The noodles cooked by the lady at the front desk are delicious hahahaha. I didn’t have time to take a few photos. The store pet kitten is so well-behaved, cute and clingy 666. Ask the front desk if you don’t understand. Everything is delicious when you go out.
