Popular Chengdu 4-star Hotels

The service here was outstanding.  10 stars is not enough.  My room was a small room, which was fine, but I had a couple problems and each time they took care of me amazingly.  Once was simple… no outlet near the tea table to plug the kettle. I shrugged and said no problem but just a few minutes later front desk called and asked if I would like a power ***** to help. Yes! Thanks for the good idea!  A few days later we had a big wind and rainstorm and I discovered my rooms window did not close fully. So a little rain and cold wind came in the room.  Solution?  Moved me to a much larger room that had huge windows which did not open. Wonderful.  Just every need the helped with. Also bed was comfy, room was very clean, towels weee big, and breakfast was huge. Really recommend

it was a very nice stay thanks to the kind and friendly staff🤗 they are solution oriented. Breakfast is nice, the rooms are clean and size is enough. They have free self laundry. Just a little suggestion they can change the elevator card reading system 💡 Overall good value for money!

The front desk is very nice and professional. Location is quite good with two nearby metro stations. The breakfast is good and what surprises me is the special seafood buffet dinner with 100Y discount, there are many live seafood and hotpot to consume, well worth it. The disappointing part is the air conditioning in the room. It is always at 27 degC... freaking stuffy and warm. I couldn't sleep well the whole night and I was sweating. The air condition is actually not working and they preset it centralized and there is just hot air. I complaint and was given one cooling fan bit it didn't worked still hot and I complain again and was given a second cooling fan, still didn't work. It is very very frustrating. The reason I was told by the front desk is that they are servicing the air conditioner so they have to shut it down... like SERIOUSLY..?? I lover everything about this hotel but the air conditioning problem is a big NO NO...!!!

I last min booked this hotel as I wasn’t happy with my previous hotel. So I booked this hotel at Chunxi Road (near Tai Koo Li) Hotel was so much better than previous one for sure. Paid for breakfast hotel (food literally the same thing everyday) Like: • Location really good and walkable distance to man malls and all but the pick up point for car is always jammed (after 420pm start to Jam) • a lot of food and stores nearby and even IFS shopping Center. • Service was good despite that lady before checking in. • Opposite hotel is train station Dislike: • Carpet Floor • No Fridge • very basic tv / cannot connect phone and all • Pool Closed • Too many people snatching to use the washing machine/dryer. • Came down physically to ask the receptionist if I can straight book a hotel on the spot and how much was it. She told me to check online so I asked her isit she can’t checked on her end now she said no she can check but idk why she dw help me check. (Before stay)

The location was perfect! Food, shopping and drinks are all within walking distance. The front desk staff A and cleaning lady was super helpful in finding back my rings and my husband’s outer coat when we have conveniently forgotten about it as we moved to the next destination. The room itself and cleanliness was so-so. Swimming pool and gym is in the basement of the building but you will need to pay to use it. The heater in the room was not working. Was trying to increase temperature to 28 degrees but it kept on getting stocked at 25 degree despite the screen showing the higher temperature for a while.

The room was pretty nice, having kitchen zone and big wardrobe. The security seems great (checked my passport longer than any other hotels I've been to in china). Bedding was super nice too. But I hate the bathroom design... no doors between bedroom and bathroom section. Shower room inside also has nowhere to hang towels. The toilet door has a channel above, so other people would hear everything you did in the toilet 😂 Was travelling with not-a-close friend, so it's a bit uncomfortable with that kind of bathroom. The staff were super nice and helpful.

The check in process with quick and smooth with the assistance of 小吴⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A 6 year old hotel but maintenance is great that I would actually think it’s a 2-3year old hotel. Room was a decent size with ample space to manage luggage and shopping goods. I had good sleep on all nights in the hotel, the bed, pillow was really comfortable. Location wise it’s a stone’s throw away from chunxi road with IFS and Taikooli just around the corner. At night there are food stalls just around the hotel entrance so perfect to try some local street food. The first night, we encountered some issues with the centralized aircon which was swiftly and professionally managed by 刘棚. He ensured that we had a comfortable stay, and was very patient throughout. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Follow up was done by 小吴via WeChat to make sure we are good and comfortable with the new room. the hotel is definitely worth the stay, but the best asset would definitely be both 刘棚 and 小吴， I too wish I could hire staff that are so professional and dedicated as both of them. Thank you both!

This was my fourth visit to Somerset Riverview since 2019. The location by the river has a feeling of openness in a big city. I usually visit Chengdu in the middle of a trip, and the amenities and provisions make Somerset Riverview a home away from home with its kitchen and washing machine etc. The rooms are spacious, especially on this visit when I received an upgrade to a very impressive suite. Kelly Wei and her colleagues on the reception desk were - as always - polite and helpful. As were all the other staff I met. Housekeeping looked after my room. Xiexie

Nana. We booked a suite room for 3 night here. The room was listed for 3 people but it was spacious enough for 4 people to stay in comfortably. The facility in the room worked normally and the staff are helpful even if some of them doesn't speak English.

I have stayed in two similar budget hotel around tianfu square Hello hotel (你好）around usd 30 a night and this hidden house hotel (隐栖）around usd 35 a night Room and hotel design - i would say both have its unique design, hello hotel is more modern and hidden house is more muji, both are clean and serve with ai However hidden house has bigger room space and higher ceiling Breakfast - no other hotel beats hello hotel, if u are looking for a fantastic start of the day with good and various type of breakfast u should go for hello hotel, hidden house is not doing that good in this Amenities - hello hotel only have one lift it may take u some time waiting for the lift and hidden house got 2 lift which is much convenient, they both have free washing facilities with self service, but i would prefer hello hotel washing facilities
