Recently, I had a mission to go on a business trip in Chengdu. When I didn't know where to book a hotel, I looked it up online and the system recommended the Acme Argyle Hotel. The price was within my acceptable range. And I found that this hotel is in the economic center of Qingyang District, which is very close to where I am on a business trip, and there is a Chengdu West Station next to it, which is another choice for me when planning a trip. The front desk was also very enthusiastic when I checked in to the hotel, and I found that snacks were also prepared thoughtfully when I checked in to the room. The room space is still large enough, and the desks and other equipment are very complete. Maybe I am lucky. The front desk arranged a room on a high floor with a very wide view. It feels like I will be on the top of the mountain and see all the small mountains. The breakfast of the hotel is also very rich. I don't have difficulty in choosing. I choose to try each one. The taste is very good, and the breakfast time is very long, until 10 o'clock in the morning, so there is no need to worry about getting up late and there is no breakfast available. The surrounding Sichuan cuisine is also very authentic and the price is very close to the people. In general, it is a good hotel for a business trip.

I asked him if he had a higher table to work on my computer and he brought out a folding table for the room. Very convenient. The location is pretty good for eating and going to the mall, there is a metro station 15-20min walk. You can also call a cab but do note it's on the 3rd ring road so quite far from the centre. They can keep the luggage for free and it is 2km away from a train station. Some comments: it is quite annoying that all the electricity, including washing machine and refrigerator are shut off once you take out the card. Maybe they can find a better system for these 2 appliances. Concerning the bathroom: please fix the leaking sink. It is very dangerous to keep the hairdryer so close to the shower. Maybe store it somewhere else. A famous French singer died like that (Claude François).

We were touring central China from Zhangjiajie to Yichang and from Chongqing to Chengdu. Zi Yu is one of the best hotels we stayed at. The room was super clean and comfortable. The restaurant, located on the same floor as most rooms, offered delicious Sichuan cuisine at a great price. On top of all this, the staff members both at the front desk and in the restaurant were very kind and helpful. I’ll definitely stay at Zi Yu next time I come to Chengdu.

The hotel room is very nice. The sanitation is very clean. The front desk staff is very polite and courteous. They also provide good directions. I feel the hospitality of Chengdu. I will come again next time I have the chance.

This is probably your best option in Chengdu. The rooms are really cute with a tatami style bed and they are clean. The water pressure is awesome and the room is quiet. The staff speaks English so it is easy to communicate and get help/info. The hang around areas are nice and the roof top has a great view but the beers are a bit expensive for being a hostel. Zoey that works in the reception is the best! She is super service minded and will help you with everything! She helped us much more than expected from the hotel/hostel staff. Without her our visit would have been much less nice and more complicated. The hostel should be super happy to have her and should do everything in the world to keep her! If we go back to Chengdu we would choose this hostel over a nicer hotel just because of the brilliant service, thanks a lot Zoey! The laundry service upstairs works great and it is cheap but there is only one machine and you can hang your clothes there and they dry quickly or you use the dryer. We didn't have any issues waiting to use them etc.
