This hotel was surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants, 5-7
mins walk to IFS, the airport bus stop is just right outside of the iconic IFS giant panda which was very convenient. They offered a delicious breakfast buffet, and for late-night cravings, they even had complimentary porridge from 9:30pm to 11pm. Plus, there were washing machines available on the 7th floor for guest use. The hotel was clean and the staff provided friendly service. Overall, I had a pleasant stay!

The hotel location is very convenient. Very close to IFS, tai koo li, many eating place nearby and many stores to look around. Staffs are very kind and very helpful. It was my very first visit to Chengdu and none of us can speak chinese, we contacted the staff in advance to help us with train station pick up. The staff gladly help us with that and make sure we arrived the hotel safely. All the staff were very helpful accommodating our every request. I was ask the staff’s help to help me send goods to other city and 小雪 gladly helped me with that request. Amazing service! Also shoutout for other front desk staffs Xiao Zhang and Xiao Xue ❤️❤️❤️ amanzing job everyone ❤️

Recommended by a friend, I was not disappointed. First of all, the hotel is in a very good location, very close to Chunxi Road Taikoo Li, and the transportation is also convenient. The hotel facilities are very good, the overall space is large and quiet. The hotel is very clean and the environment is comfortable. The service room is really warm and the soft voice is very warm. Very satisfied. I must stay at Home Inn when I travel in the future, it is very solid and safe.

It was an amazing hotel with unique design especially for families with kids. The futon bed is great for kids and saves the trouble for parents tic-toeing in the room. The service is great too.
Location wise, no doubt it’s in the centre of the city right next to the shopping street.
We’ll book the same hotel next time we go to chengdu.

I also met fellow travelers from all over the country. Thank you all. They were very self-conscious, and there were several fellow travelers chatting until midnight the night before leaving. The hotel bed is very comfortable to sleep on. The bed curtains are drawn down for good privacy. The aunt will do the cleaning every day and all the necessary facilities are available. However, the bathroom and washroom are shared, but it’s okay. After all, it’s not too difficult to travel alone. If you ask for more, the National Day price is quite cheap, cost-effective, and suitable for traveling alone.

Greeted by friendly hotel staffs when we checked in. Hotel room is spacious, comfy 2 twin beds. There’s also a sofa & coffee table, overlooking the main road. But that make a little noisy, but I’m okay with it
Bathroom is big enough & water pressure is excellent. Come with a refrigeration & 2 cans of soft drink & 2 bottles of water everyday.
One thing is room service never change our bed sheets for 7 nights. Guess I should have requested them to do so.
But overall stay is pleasant & location is superb, within distance to the pedestrian walking street ChunXi, tai koo li and IFS. I’ll come back again for sure.

The hardware is good but more can be done from service standpoint as well as offerings. Room was hot and while they promptly provided a fan, the noise from the fan greatly lowered the comfort of the room. Welcome fruits did not look fresh and indeed looked like the farthest thing from a 'Welcome'. Minibar drinks included nothing but sugary can drinks that are obviously cheap and mediocre for such an establishment. I found a hair in the notebook left on the side table next to the bed. The hair was still there after staying 5 nights. Breakfast was a complete mess and disaster - coffee machine was down and there was a shortage of milk for a while. Restaurant staff were unapologetic about the situation which is completely baffling. Kudos have to be given to the restaurant manager who apologised profusely and tried to make amends but alas, in the overall scheme of things, it would take so much more to save this sinking ship of a hotel.

LLvsezhiziI stayed for two nights during the May Day holiday and was very satisfied! First of all, it is worth recommending that the service attitude is very good, and it takes all aspects of the guests into consideration. It makes guests feel at home, and the service is far better than that of a five-star hotel. Secondly, the environment is very good. It is located between two mountains full of bamboo forests. The garden design is great, and it has its own mountain trail and tea pavilion developed on one side of the mountain. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the garden and on the mountain trail. The room is a large Japanese tatami style, including goose*stone slabs in the room, which the kids love very much. Breakfast is served one by one, with a unique style. Dinner is a standard meal, very rich, and also suitable for kids. It's a pity that it rained for two days and I didn't see the fireflies. I will come to see the fireflies in July~

DDelboyThis was a first class experience at a first class hotel. Right from the start I was made to feel at home and was allowed to check in much earlier than 2pm which was ideal as I could freshen up before going to my future work place. In addition, complimentary breakfast was added to my reservation which again was a big bonus and the choices were fantastic. The grounds around the hotel are very nice to take a walk and the hotel is very near to many restaurants. The room itself was comfortable and great value for money and even having a bathtub was nice to use at the end of the day. This is a great place for anybody to stay and is family friendly which is convenient to go and see the pandas. All the staff were fantastic but I must mention Paul who really went that extra mile to make stay comfortable and even exchanged his Wechat in case I needed any help. His professional approach and English speaking ability is a great asset to the hotel. I will definitely be returning soon.

The hotel has a beautiful environment, quiet and warm, which makes people relax physically and mentally. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the quality is reflected in the details. The hot spring water is clear and you can enjoy the surrounding natural scenery while soaking in the hot spring. In terms of dining, the food is rich and delicious. The service staff is warm and thoughtful, which adds a lot of convenience to our journey. This stay experience left a deep impression on me and I strongly recommend it to friends who pursue quality and comfort. Overall, this hot spring hotel is worth a try and will definitely bring you an unforgettable experience!

GGuest User1) Subway station is 30 seconds right across the road.
2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm.
3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

GGuest UserWe had a great time in Chengdu and our stay at minyoun hotel helped make all the difference. It is quite a luxurious hotel with the reception on the 33rd floor and rooms even higher up meaning that all rooms came with an unobstructed view of the city skyline.
Location was also great being within walking distance ~7-10mins to taikooli (shopping area) and lankwaifong (bar/club area). It was also only 100/200meters away from a metro station which we honestly didn’t use, as taxis were all only 10-20rmb (~€2)
Finally the staff were excellent and particularly helpful at every request. Special shoutout to the 2 girls (apologies if we have the names wrong but Chris and Joy?), and Stefan Hu who took the time to suggest all the best places to visit around Chengdu - helping us add the locations to our maps and gifting us a tourist information notebook and panda!
We really enjoyed our stay at minyoun hotel and would highly recommend staying here. The staff brought our stay to another level, thank you ⭐️

WWen KaiGreat and convenient location, to the point we extended another night stay. Only 200m to People's Park station, subway Line 2, which can connect you almost anywhere. Able to walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley, even Tianfu Square if you can walk 2km. Also have a convenience store available downstairs of the same building, and Hong Qi store if you walk a bit further. Many tour agencies are on the opposite road, where you can book day tours. The tour bus pickup and drop off points are also only around 1km from this building, easy to walk to due to the extra-wide sidewalks. It's facing the main road so you can easily get taxis as well.
The building is easy to locate, but the check in counter is more confusing to find. When looking in from the main road, the convenience store is on the left, so you need to go to the opposite side of the convenience store. You need to walk to the back of the building and find the entrance facing the wall with a car park boom gate. There is a security guard and there are lots of online delivery boxes. Then, access the elevator and the reception is on level 26.
There was a washing machine and detergent available in our unit, which we utilized. Other than the clothes hanging bar in the kitchen, the rest of the unit lacked places to hang things such as wet towels. It was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with another queen bed in the living room. Hot water was always available though you have to fiddle with the lever and wait some time. The kitchen only had a water kettle and a few mugs. There's a primary school right beside the building and you can hear the students every weekday morning. (My photos were taken just before checkout so don't mind the mess)
The owners are an exceptionally friendly couple who are hardworking and provide excellent service. They are open to feedback and we've told them what we think was lacking in our unit. Hopefully they will implement the small improvements. They also recommended a few restaurants to us that had good local food and were reasonably priced.
Recommend to add them on WeChat prior to arrival and communicate your arrival time. They wait at the front desk past midnight if they don't know the guest's check in time. However, they can only communicate in Mandarin, so you may face some difficulty.

CCatherine HumeThe reception girls are very polite, friendly and helpful. The room is clean and big, the bed is very comfortable. Chinese style breakfast is free and balanced diet, suitable for anyone who likes Chinese food! Free cherry tomatoes are fresh and sweet. Self-serve laundry service - washing machine is free to use on the 4th floor. The room has a slight smell of mold, but the manager have promised to solve the problem with the cleaning company. VVinson1110In the heart of Chengdu's vibrant cultural landscape, nestled mere steps away from the revered Wenshu Monastery, stands the unassuming yet conveniently situated hotel that has become the subject of my recent sojourn. While the property's proximity to one of the city's premier tourist destinations is undoubtedly a boon, the mere 10-minute stroll from the nearest metro station is somewhat offset by the arduous 1.5-hour commute from the Tianfu Airport.
However, this minor inconvenience is more than compensated for by the hotel's close proximity to a veritable cornucopia of local eateries, each offering a tantalizing array of regional delicacies. Furthermore, the establishment's fundamental standards of cleanliness and tidiness, coupled with its remarkably affordable pricing, render it a tempting proposition for the discerning traveler.
Regrettably, the hotel's secluded location may give rise to certain reservations, particularly for female guests, who may find the sense of isolation somewhat unsettling. The complete absence of cold water, a fundamental amenity, is a glaring oversight that can only be described as utterly deplorable and potentially hazardous.
Adding to the compound's woes is the curious configuration of the floor upon which I have been granted lodging, which appears to be a curious amalgamation of guest quarters and staff dormitories, lending an air of awkwardness to the proceedings. Finally, the presence of a tea set devoid of its essential component – the tea leaves – is a peculiarity that, while not entirely crippling, nonetheless serves to underscore the minor oversights that have crept into the hotel's otherwise commendable service.
In conclusion, while the Wenshu Monastery hotel presents a compelling proposition for the budget-conscious traveler seeking convenient access to Chengdu's cultural treasures, the shortcomings outlined above cannot be overlooked, and prospective guests would do well to weigh the pros and cons with due diligence before committing to their stay.

SSoloWondersI’d say the hostel has a youth vibe and rooms with windows are spacious. Cleanliness could be improved big time as well the messiness in the hallways - apparently the hostel is being renovated so many debris can be spotted accumulated down the hall.
Location close enough to the Temple and Monastery complex and to an amazing restaurant street with delicious Chengdu food.
Make sure you buy water before coming in and select rooms with windows otherwise you may be assigned one that’s has none.

We arrived late past 12am, the person who picked us up came on time, however, a heads up would be well appreciated as the way to the hotel was a dark, unlit, small road. We were all alert and concerned about where we were heading. A real scare!! Other than that, everything is okay for a night stay.
