JOYA Hotels in Chengdu

The location of The Temple House Chengdu is unbeatable, right next to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road. Yet, it's surprisingly quiet in the evenings when you return to the hotel. The room size was just right, and the bedding was very comfortable. The overall decor is a new-Chinese style, very photogenic, and creates a serene atmosphere. Breakfast is served until 1 PM, with a wide variety of options. The 'chaoshou' (Sichuan wontons) and 'dan hong gao' (egg pancakes) are definitely worth trying. I heard the banana French toast is a new item, and it was indeed delicious when I tried it this time. What I liked most was the late-night snack service, available every night from 9 PM to 11 PM. They offer a rotating selection of dishes like dandan noodles, 'long chaoshou' (another type of wonton), and brown sugar 'guokui' (Sichuan flatbread), which is perfect for a light bite after exploring. The service was also excellent; the front desk staff proactively helped with luggage, and they even gave a small gift upon check-out. It's a hotel with a very personal touch.

Five out of five stars, highly recommended! My overall experience at the Chengdu Gaoxin Xiyue Hotel was outstanding. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was great, ensuring a very restful sleep. The staff were warm and polite, and the check-in and check-out process was very efficient; any requests were promptly addressed. The public areas and restaurant were very clean, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. Both the facilities and services are top-notch, offering great value for money. It's perfect for both travel and longer stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit!
