The Belstead

The best thing about the hotel is it's people. Each and everyone is eager to do anything to make guests feel welcome. On ny request they arranged bday cake for my son even before I checked in. Packed my breakfast to my choice as I didnt have time to have it in hotel. Lovely staff.

Good hotel but heavy traffic

Very good hotel which is decently priced. Location was good. Service is also good. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent. I had a pleasent stay. Definately worth trying considering their afforfable price. A value for money deal. Exceeded my expectations in all areas considering the price point. Room was designed was vibrant and colorful.

Overall the staff and service was good and to add breakfast was excellent . The room has old rustic equipments the AC is dripping water and tv never worked and foul smell in room but the staff are nice and helpful asked for cleaning , hairdryer and Mat all was serviced well

We had a short stay of 3 days at the bet-stead for work purpose. The place is absolutely clean and staff is very friendly. The room service for food and for any other help is very prompt. It’s located on a main road so quite safe if you are travel-ling alone. The place is a non-smoking hotel so that was a big plus for us! totally recommended for both work and family vacations

Extremely average, basic amenities like hair dryer missing, very dimly lighted washrooms, no paper napkins ro water in rooms.

Room was good but bathroom had poor lights the floor was very slippery we are senior citizens and were scared to walk or chances of falling hand shower necessary the mixer of the bathroom was not working properly smell of non vegetarian was in dinning section so we took meals in outside veg restaurants

Travel-led 900kms with my wife and 9 month old baby to be checked into a nightmare of an experience! we checked in around 1 am in the night. To our shock, we found that none of the 2 rooms booked had working air-conditioning. I called the reception right away and they sent a ac maintenance person immediately. But despite repeated attempts they couldn't get the ac to work. But even knowingly, they were trying to convince us that the ac was indeed fixed. With the growing heat and humidity in the room, our kid couldn't sleep and started crying. I rushed to the reception to explain the situation and ask to be allotted to another room, but even before i could finish explaining the issue, the lifeless excuse for a human behind the desk told in a very stern voice that there are no other rooms available. Period. He wasn't even giving us an alternative. It was like, you chose belstead, you chose to suffer. So suffer! i had to call multiple times after which i was finally allotted another room (now where did this new room come from if they were all occupied) and imagine all of this drama happening at 1. 30 am in the night. But what good would a voucher do when you are in a locked room in one of the hottest places in the country without working air conditioning. But eventually i was given a room with working air-conditioning, and they confirmed that the other room which i had booked for my driver was fixed as well. It was only in the morning; i came to know that the issue was not fixed in my driver's room at all. To add insult to injury, the morning buffet had food that was at least 2 days old and stale. I am seriously surprised at what happened to this place because they were awesome during my earlier visits. My sincere request to travelers especially the ones travel-ling with your family, choosing this place for your next stay is a gamble at best! at 11, 000 rs. For 2 rooms, they are don't come cheap either.
