I took the bus from the airport and the bus stop was right in front of the hotel (it took about 40 minutes and took a rather long detour).
This was my first visit to Chiang Mai and I chose this hotel because it was right in front of Tha Phae Gate, but it was in a convenient location for exploring the old town.
The hotel has a slightly old-fashioned feel and the facilities are generally dim and a bit dark at night, but the room was spacious enough and the front desk was very friendly.
There are no toothbrushes so you have to brush your teeth yourself.
There were two bottles of water provided.

Convenient for travel, right next to the Sunday Night Market and Thapae Gate, there is a Burger King and a currency exchange shop downstairs. I just made a note not to have the last room but I still got one. The waiters were very friendly and the breakfast was not bad. The room facilities are a bit old
